Hello everyone, Sorry about the timestamps just not appear in the video seek bar!! I don't know why But the timestamps are just in the description section of this video! Thank you for watching!!!
i do not have the words to thank you enough for making this guide. after a month of trying to figure this out, finally i come across with your tutorial. i am perplexed at the realization that i do not even need a router to load games from my laptop. you are a wonderful person and i wish good fortune in all your future endeavors
Wonderful guide. It took me about an hour pausing this guide here and there to get it set up. Really informative and no BS filler. Thank you for this!!
After many tutorials trying with a UPBPD server and it failing in many ways I swapped to SMB… many tutorials with that and I kept getting network adaptor errors… but YOUR tutorial worked first try flawlessly I was amazed. You earned a like thank you!!
Seriously a great video! I kept seeing videos on loading from USB and all I could think about were the slow transfer speeds. This is a great tutorial on the process and immensely helpful.
Hey, so I followed your tutorial but after connect my ps2 to my pc using ethernet cable and changing the network setting in my ps2 I get error 310: No network connection. What should i do fix this?
So we must use computer to access the game file or we can use other external memory like HDD or Flash Drive, and then we can still play using the ETH cable without must connect to computer again, just by HDD or Flash drive? Sorry I just curious about that maybe posibble
What I'm interested in is whether or not you can do this on Linux, since I have a spare Linux PC I can use almost entirely for just this purpose, but I've never done a network drive on Linux before.
Hey man, 🇵🇭. I was wondering what ethernet cable did you use? did you just use the standard ethernet cable designated for connecting the router to the pc or a crossover ethernet cable?
A very excellent and great clear tutorial of connecting PS2 to computer for gameplaying in 2024 !!!! Even work on the latest free Mcboot version. but I have a question which is where is the game save located is it in the memory card one or I have to insert a second memory card into the second slot of PS2?
Can't find SMB 1.0 in turn WIndows features on or off. Also can't find any way to install it and when I try to enable it via PowerShell it says it can't find the service
A dumb question, but do you still need a network adapter for your PS2 if you use ethernet cable from PC to PS2? I’ve got a PS2 fat so there’s no build-in one.
I’m trying to understand how this works. You are running the games on your ps2 but playing them on your pc? Or are you playing it on you ps2 and it just shows up on you pc like if you were watching a video on your pc? Are the roms on your pc or ps2? Will this work with the fat ps2 if I have a network adapter? Will this work on a weak laptop without a graphics card?
He's playing the games on his ps2 but loading them from the HDD on his PC so the loading times aren't slower than normal. This is known as an alternative to loading games off of a USB that is plugged into the ps2.
Holy dude if I can pull this off, maybe just maybe I can do this with my friend and play those resident evil outbreaks 👍 but I'll have to wait it out kinda scared to break something gonna wait till my other ps2 comes in
Hey, thanks for sharing this guide! Very clear and very useful! Just wondering, setting the computer this way can be a risk? Can people enter easily on your computer?
No, I connected my laptop directly to the PS2 console itself. I do not connect them by using a router I just directly connected my laptop to the console itself via Ethernet cable
When you get error 300 it means you either didnt setup everything in your pc as it should or entered the incorrect ip address in the opl. I had the same issue and found I missed a step (7:46) with setting up my ip on my pc.
