I really enjoyed that demo of reggae. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Would you pattern lock in with the kit drummers reggae beat called the ( drop beat ) ? I will work on that myself .My drum kit teacher taught me that last week,so I will record myself and play your beat on congas to see if they lock in and groove. Thanks , Richie

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, it should work. Is this the same groove as the One Drop groove? If so, it should work just fine.

Great rhythm and I'm pretty sure I've got it by studying the slower tempos but it would be good to have a bit more description of the different sounds and structure and how to produce them, especially for beginners. Thanks

Thanks Dave, glad you got the rhythm! So, my videos are tailored to an audience that learns using varied tempos instead of the typical step by step or hand by hand guide. There are tons of other channels that teach from the approach of step by step or hand by hand, so my method is intentional for that reason. But I’ll work on a separate video for those sounds in the future! Thanks for the support! 🙏🏼
