I agree. Some games are better without a tutorial but I think RoR2 would benefit from a tutorial mission

I kinda loved instantly being lasered and going again learning from my mistakes, there is a reason so much effort was put into minimising loading screens as It removes ALOT of monotony

Thank you! I tried a couple “tips for beginners” videos and they were more like tips for intermediate players. I just needed to know how to play. It’s unfortunate the game developers didn’t think a basic tutorial was worth their time.

Ugh...yeah, finding that teleporter is what ends up killing me every time. I just started so I have 0 familiarity with every map. I don't know what parts of the map is accessible so I sometimes end up going in circles not knowing there's that ledge that can be crossed that leads to another big part of the map or there's a corner that hides more of the map. I don't know. So as of now I'm racking up my deaths to some of the most embarassing things possible. I even die on stage 1 sometimes. 😆 Thanks for the vid. Some of the info do help.

I don't understand, what is the purpose to keep playing if the experience is almost the same every single run?

it's not the same every run if you choose to. every survivor you can play has a different style to play. s you can make 'builds' with the items you find or you just wanna see how far in god modus you would like to go with your survivor. big tip, you can find secret codes around the map and at a certain stage you can put the code in and recieve a artifact you unlock that you can use every new run you do. it goes from giving you something extra this run or to break the game in fun ways. i'm 100 hours in and every run has been different

simple tip to find the teleporter. it's almost always on the other side of the map where you spawn

Crowbar goes hard af on huntress. You could 1 shot most of the weak enemies. Any other character would get the goat hoof

Hey I just got the game and found this super helpful but I was wondering why are there locked squares in the load out menu ?

Those squares are for artifacts that you unlock one by one. Underneath the Sky Meadow level (stage 5) there's a small island where you can enter specific codes. If an artifact code is correct, you'll be sent to a trial, and you'll unlock the artifact after completing the trial. You can see all the artifact codes on the wiki - Jay

this game is only fun with friends and it's limited in the single player. overall there is nothing else to do in this game but kill things and get more powerful while feeling rushed everytime. its ok for the price and not for me. no real exploration, no side quests, no trades or factions and no real elements that would make it remotely close to a rpg. just a action mmo game with "PERMANENT SPEED RUN" nothing more.

Many people are saying a tutorial would have been better and the game is very hard to get into I actually liked being thrown in the game and figure out what to do On easy mode I reached world 3 on, what, 3rd try? I guess that's because I'm very familiar both with roguelikes and with shooters

You crashland on an alien planet and first thing you do is search for money. This game is bogus and shouldn't cost more than 15 euros.

I am more confused than when I got here lmao. Not your fault I'm probs dumb. I usually get 3-4 stages in, sometimes accidentally ending up in 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' difficulty because idk wtf I'm meant to do. But, this is helpful.

whole game's potential lost right at the beginning, why no item description why no tutorial or just an easy explanation what to do, game's just stupidly wrong desinged, i finished a game and opened some characters but more i played more disenchanted game looked to me it's like still in beta/early access type of game
