Hello all! This week we are creating Shino Aburame in Pathfinder 2nd Edition, the bug ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village. If you want to drain your foes health while hiding in the shadows, then this is the build for YOU!
You know what might be a fun build next? The penguins from Madagascar. Awakened animal, some monk for martial arts or roguishness for stealthy stuff, the 'so cute' feat, could be a fun build.
Rouge is a color, not a class lol The problem with this build is the action economy, Swarmkeeper alone requires 2 actions per round to do something (one for sustaining and another for the action), so it doesn't work well with RK plus strike Apart of that, pretty good video
Oh dear, that is embarrassing. Yeah, the swarm keeper archetype eats through actions. I have a hard time imagining a build that wouldn’t be action starved with it. Once we get distracting bites, we don’t need to use recall knowledge to make foes off guard. The mastermind racket mostly exists because I didn’t feel any of the rackets were a perfect fit for Shino eldritch trickster would have been nice from legacy content but I get the feeling the remaster is trying to do away with that side of the rogue since its entire feat line was removed. (Hopefully player core 2 proves me wrong.)
I really wanted to like swarmkeeper as it is one of my favorite flavors but the mechanics of the archetype just suck soo much, it is certainly the worst archetype in the entire game. That doesn't change the fact that you did a good job with the flavor and the build.
I really want to disagree, but you are entirely correct. This build can do a ton of different things, but I don’t think the swarmkeeper adds much to the build that you can’t get better versions of elsewhere.
