He made it through the whole conversation without even mentioning the best unit in the army. Varanguard absolutely slap. Also no mention of Belakor, one of the best units in the whole game.
Well this is his army experience and its also called budget in their name. So they not gonna own all the models. Only an absolute meta chasing simp gonna throw down on an army of vanguard 😂😂😂
@RobDastardly thats typically why you hear of them alot. Kotet, bunch of varen and knights. Varen atleast used to be spammy, expensive lists. I still stand on my views, his army and experience. He gave chosen a good shout and fit into more lists.
Yeah it was a weird , I didn't really get the point of this video. Book review by someone who not particularly knowledgeable of the army. Just some guy
Oh, this video was just uploaded. Nice. Thank you. Been looking for something like this that is modern, that is clear sound and speech, and easy to understand. Appreciate! Subscribed and will come back to watch more.
Oh, for constructive feedback: I found the video quite informative overall .. there is a lot of good reasons for things, why they are good or to take them .. but sometimes it would be nice to know 'why not'. For example, the Daemon Prince .. comes in the box set, and a target roll with the 'eye of the gods'. But I've heard here, and on other channels that he isn't usually worth taking. But I don't exactly know why not. His stats seem good. But I don't have any experience playing with others yet. I like this series, looking forward to more. It would be nice to know why some common options are typically not chosen for lists from the point of view of the person being interviewed. Thank you :)
Good feedback. The prince is worth taking if you want to make ravagers cultist spams battleshock immune. But in general he has poor stats and offers no real benefit to your Army. he also needs a Hero spot in your list building and has 10 wounds which is bad for some battalions and also for the Look out sir rule. In general the slaves to darkness are a bit similar to stormcast - you want as less heroes as possivle because your units are strong but expensive pts wise. The Sorcerer gives synergy, most builds run two of them and some dont even go for more heroes. you also have access to Be Lakor or a fighty Karkadrak who can be a strong general with certain artefacts and command traits. its just better than the demon prince. But dont forget, that this is from a quite competetive standpoint. if you play vs someone who also runs a fun/fluff (weak) list, you can play whatever models you like. Or if you go to a local GW 1000pkt tournament or sth, these models like demon prince can be just cool to bring if you like the look of it.
I subscribed to this channel a while ago, but I only just noticed these army spotlights. Now I'm binging them all. Super great stuff, some of the best. I am soon running out, so absolutely keep them coming! :D
Really hope you guys do a how to play Hedonites of Slaanesh and Gloomspite Gitz. Love the aesthetic and lore of the armies, but I get super confused with rules and building an army.
Think it all depends on your list and how you play , for me I play more for foot soldiers, chosen and warriors, ogeriod and definitely a manticore with arcane sorcerer 🧙♀️ and knights , with realmforge rupture
