I actually haven't touched my drums in years. But joeys passing hurt me so much that I'm now airdrumming with you till I get access to my drum set again...in honor of the legend :)
Ive read tabs and ive watched multiple videos for many songs and they all seem off.. then i come here and you always show the correct way to play. Love it. Ive been playing eyeless wrong for a while now
Dude....where have you been all My life???!!! I've been playing off and on for 25 years and the way you teach is amazing!!! I need a teacher just like you. Thank you for sharing and teaching!!!
This guy's excellent! He teaches like a high-end professional drum teacher. If you could do that whole self-titled album except Scissors that would be awesome!
By far the best drumming teaching channel on YT. I used to play when I was younger and just now picked it back up and slipknot is my all time favorite band 🤘 thank you!
You nailed that one dude!! Your technique is awesome and the fill sounds super clean (just the way it should sound). Appreciate the way you shared your knowledge with us! Keep up the good work!!
isolate it. Play it slow, get it down, gradually speed up. think "DIG A DUT" when you play it. Let me know how that works. There's other ways to get it down also.
Bro thank you so much! I’ve been trying to figure out that damn drum roll into the main song, been watching multiple tutorials which just haven’t clicked, but you breaking that down the way you did, makes total sense and now I can play it in my head, thank you man, appreciate ya!
I am starting a monthly video membership so that you can access the FULL song. All new videos that come out will have the full song video available to members. Keep in touch as its beginning BY September at the latest!
because of joey i'm gonna be trying to learn the drums despite my drum set's kick not working, is very old and hasn't been touched since the dawn of time i will still try my best to make good use of it till i can get a better drum set :)
lol... the dawn of time! ... It's just brushing the rust off my friend. If you have things you need some extra help with let me know. There are tons of small things that add up to being able to play much easier, and learning a lot faster.
hey man, thanks a million for this tutorial, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this track's intro part. Quick question - what sizes are the toms you're using? also, if you havent already, could you take a look into the intro from Disasterpiece also? Cheers from Ireland! :)
Dude ur awesome for this demonstration! You rock man and your fills are so clean and precise! Impressive! Your knowledge on the drums with fills and hereta is insane! Thank you! Going to go home and practice this! Can't wait!❤💯🤘✌️
It's always interesting how you find out how to play this. Do you just watch videos with drummers playing or do you look for some tabs in the internet? Great job by the way
thanks! Depends on the song, but the vast majority I listen to the song, and figure out what the drummer is doing. Sadly, most drum music has several errors.
Hi! I do partial videos on RU-vid, I will have full song video breakdowns available on my site soon and also offer live drum lessons! If you'd like to sign up for either, email me at info@e7musicschool.com, I'd love hearing from you!!
yes you can play it with two toms, I can't make a video for that but would be happy to help you via a free live drum lesson. Email me at Jeremy@thedrumprofessor.com
I have been following your videos for some time now and find them extremely helpful. Can you please do a lesson on how to play "The pokemon theme song". I can't quite wrap my head around it. If you would be so kind to do a tutorial! Thanks!
Thanks for following Zehan! Not sure if I can get to that one for a while, BUT I'd be more than happy to set up a free lesson and go over how to play it if you like? If you would like to do that, email me @ Jeremy@thedrumprofessor.com to set it up! :) If you're under 18 please have a parent contact me also. What songs have you learned so far?
Awesome drumming there. Been your fan for a long time. Could u teach how to play “mitther agrashon” by Powersurge? Its a famous Bangladeshi song although not a famous song around the world. But its a pretty cool song to play. So it would b great if u did
Hey man, Great job keep up the good work. If you could, can you do a video on left behind by slipknot. I have an assignment coming up and i kinda need to learn it aha. Cheers from Australia! :)
as a maggot and a drummer this is such a perfect way to learn the one and only eyeless! The thing I do to stay in time is by saying random words which correspond to what I have to play! 😂

One thing I’ve picked up on around 5 minutes in, you said something like “I see a lot of people not leaving the appropriate rest counts” first off, it’s in 4/4 so you counting “1,2,3” as your rests is incorrect it should be 2,3,4. Second issue, with your statement from earlier, you didn’t leave the correct time for your tests according to your own tempo. This drum fill in particular is around 4:55 for those interested. Count your clicks and you will see that you come in early, contradicting what you had just said earlier with your students
