how to play "Still Got the Blues" on guitar by Gary Moore - guitar solo lesson 

"If 100 guys play this, this first bit, this melody, they're all gonna sound different. Some will sound really good, really emotive, and like right on the money, and you'll get a feeling from it. And other guys will just sound like a dying cat, ya know? Because it just not happening, they'll be sharp they'll be flat, whatever." Really wish I could say I am apart of the former, but sadly I'm apart of the latter, haha. Great tutorial and playing as always.

Oh my God! I am just now learning who Gary Moore is because of this video. Thank you. I don't know how it is possible I never heard of him. It is like waking up and finding out you never heard of SRV. What a player, what feel he had. I'm watching some of his performances here and I just can't believe what an amazing player he was.

I remember the first time I heard this song on a dvd I got with a guitar magazine, at the time I was all over guns and roses with slash but Gary Moore took my breath away! He is/was and will be the best guitarist of all time in my opinion, he was so gifted and like you say, he plays with soul... A lot like Prince does who's another great guitarist....... Jesus imagine a mash up of still got the blues and purple rain... 🤔

It’s hard to believe Gary is gone 8 years. Man I miss his blistering tone, endless sustain, and beautiful vibrato.

What I like the most about the blues is that you can feel the pain through the guitar, especially the way gary plays

I got into a rut a few years ago and hung the strat on the wall. After hearing you on utibe ive got right back into it polishing up my technique basically relearning a few old standards from you ive now gone on and got back playing live with a new band.
