This solo is one of the most beautiful 'sweet + fast combination' solos in rock history. I've never gotten bored with it since 1988. You play it really really well.
Very nice, thanks! I'm working up to making this a personal project. I love how the solo really supports and extends the song with its soaring melodic parts, while offering enough technical spice to keep listeners on their toes. I wish more solos were more like this and not just feverishly jerking off the neck of the guitar with random notes that are hard to pick out. Nice execution of the slow version!
Amazing job, so pure and straight and correct every note with all those nuances, correct bendings and vibratos and running scales like super car. Still very musical, not just repeating all those circus tricks.
sulutkin Yes! That’s what I have always felt about that solo but couldn’t quite put it into words. You are 100% right, it remains musical throughout. Speed demons are ok and have their place but this solo is something special, you feel it in your soul and it’s the thing that made me go down to the local H&H music here in Houston and buy my first guitar many years ago.
Agradecido
Noticed little variations between the two...fingering and picking. Was this intentional or more for artistic expression? Nice job though, but just caught the little differences between the two performances. Tone is spot on and articulation is great. Thank you.
Obrigado, Regis Moura!
Super job and tone! Can you share any tips for how to get a reasonable approximation of this tone. Do you use any particular effects to get the right tone - delay, harmonizer etc?
So io che so de coccio, te sei fortissimo
