Once GM has hit one mill subs I’m gonna be mad lurking in his chats talking about “I was a day one, I was here in the trenches you kids don’t even know”
Silver tail to WS2,3 is a solid tip!I dont mind the ‘’nerfs’’ on Lee. Makes him more honest and that forces me to play with intention. Still a rewarding character. So much more Lee Chaolan to be perfected🌹
2:49 I've start playing Lee a few weeks ago, is there any reason why you use this ending in combos and not b,b4 ff3? currently the thing that is not clear to me is his behavior against the wall, it seems very strange to me sometimes he hits sometimes not it seems to depend a lot on how and where the opponent hits the wall, much more complex than other characters who have their own combo which is good in all or almost all situations.
It depends on what you need, right? Db3 is the safest and can’t be launched at -12, db3+4 is launchble only by Kazuya at -13, and is a hard move to read, and it counterhit launches. B3,3 does the chunkiest damage. D4 is the fastest startup and has a low-high mixup built in to its follow-up (which is kinda ass but still). But it can all be sidestepped, so if you’re making a hard read, why not d3 for high crush counterhit launch? It’s easy to overuse but if you really think they’re gonna press anything besides df1 or other fast mids, it’s great. Also, slide is great and critical to the whole crouch mixup game
Because Lee can threaten slide from out of the range of most attacks. If you are holding down right in your opponents face you'll probably get launched, but if he is crouching closer to the tip of slide range most people will read slide. Especially if you're not actually in range to go for a mid. It's also just risky to press buttons against Lee because his counterhit game is so strong. If you condition with moves like ff3 people might feel like they have to sit still.
