The game is still an enigma. Every beginner video I have watched so far assumes too much prior knowledge of the League universe or of TFT itself. Where do you click? Where do you look for information? What to try to memorize vs what you can tell quickly through the UI? How to combine items within the 30 second planning window? etc etc etc
Just recently started playing as well and have never touched LoL, played a couple hours of Wild Rift. Been looking for a competitive game to get into and tried tft out and even though I don't even know what I'm doing half the time, I've been enjoying it so far. I'm starting to learn something new every game now. I think it's mainly about the learning curve as you play/watch videos, you start to get the idea of what to do and what to look for
I just started TFT last night and it was because I was convinced to play it with a friend. Having a friend while playing is a HUGE HELP. They understand the game already, know the good characters, know how to help you. Getting someone who knows the game to help guide you is a huge cheat code tbh. (I got 3rd place on my first real game:))
Frodan absolutely killed this video! Props to the production team as well. I'll definitely be using this video to show my non-tft friends to try out the game.
I played it in set 1 and a couple of other sets but i never learned anything other than traits and items, now i wanna learn how things like champion pool and other stuff work
@krispbacon9474 He's saying everything needs clarification. Like, TFT is such a complicated thing when you're just starting out. I watched the first few minutes of the video, and I'm already lost because I'm actually a beginner. I've played one time and didn't absorb any of the information on my screen. This video goes in and starts off like you already know the basics, yet it's catered towards beginners? That makes absolutely no sense. Nothing is clarified, nothing is explained upon, and it's like trying to build a house on top of foundation that doesn't exist. Sure, you might have a roof for half a second until a storm hits or a strong gust of wind knocks it over 😂
I took this info into my first game after watching and got second! some giant bat queen took me down which was awesome to see regardless of losing xD was winning all game till my last 4 matches agaisnt same person. got unlucky with no good rerolls to upgrade last of my people but was way more fun knowing this basic info. thank you for the great video!
This is my second month playing TFT. Glad I watched this video as I did learn something new. I thought that the probability of different tiers of units are dependent on the stage. Now I know that it's dependent on player level. Great video!
Who else still lost none stop even after watching this video and applying the compound interest strat? I did. For 2 hrs straight, couldn't even fucking win a single match (top 4). Nvm try again tmr
Wouldn't call this a "beginners" guide. I'm Diamond in league, touched TFT a while back and have some basic knowledge, a lot has changed in tft since then and i come to this video and it immediately jumps into things that aren't explained which I think would especially be harder for actual "beginners" imo
You explained the game well. I still don't think I'm very interested in it. LoL is a bit more....immersive? What makes TFT better than, say, Gwent? I like Gwent.
Best way to play TFT, NEVER EVER play it's mobile version. I hate TFT mobile with all my heart and want the devs managing mobile to just get fired and game yeeted from existence. Thrice I have had 5(and now 6) 3 stars and Yordle still didn't came up. The Yordle benefit is shit and not only Yordle, but playing the event is nothing more than agony. Now you may say, hey don;t play special event dumbass. Ok. FINE. So let me talk about how shitty ranked is. You wait and wait and wait forever for game to pair. Then you get paired and one guy in the beginning, separate from others go and select a bonus and game decides to select that as starting augment rather than where ALL the players are. "Dude, ranked will have less players and that's probably only a glitch ". OKAY. FINE. So unrated it is. You start playing unrated and out of nowhere your augments in one match will have all augments that carry through all game and in other, you won't get a single continuity augment. So guys, if you new, do not play TFT mobile. I REPEAT. DO NOT PLAY TFT MOBILE. And devs managing that game should never be allowed near game development, ever.
I can't believe how inarticulate this guy is. This is one of the least beginner friendly tutorials I've ever seen. He doesn't focus at all on the things that are most confusing to new players.
Don't even think about playing this turd. Ask for your nerves if you play and try to come up with something yourself. In the game, in any set there are a couple of meter-long assemblies that will not allow you to play on your own
TFT is not about any of that what this "expert" is talking about. It's much more simple: buy TFT-pass on each new patch and you have at least 99% better chance at winnnig matches. If you don't buy it, your best score will always be 4th place or worse. With TFT-pass coding allows you alos get more items and faster upgraded champions.
