About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to play the Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse in Minecraft. This modpack has tons of zombie related mobs with everything from mutant zombies to hordes. It also has things like cars, better armor and weapons, and even full on cities for you to survive the zombie apocalypse in. So, without anymore delay, here is how to download and install the Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse modpack!
To get started, we will need to download and install the CurseForge App. This is what the Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse modpack users in order to install all of its mods an be played. There is a link in the description above that will take you to our complete guide on getting CurseForge for Minecraft.
There, click the “Download CurseForge” button to go to CurseForge’s official download page. On this page, click the “Download Standalone” option to download the CurseForge Installer.
Open the CurseForge Installer, and click “Next” a few times. Then agree to the CurseForge/Overwolf terms of service, if you agree to them, click Next again, and CurseForge will begin installing.
After the CurseForge App is installed, it will open. Click on “Minecraft” and click “Continue” to setup Minecraft for modpacks in CurseForge. Now, we can go over how to install Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse for Minecraft!
When Minecraft is finished being setup, you will be on your “My Modpacks” tab. There will be a search bar at the top. In this search bar, type “Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse” and hit enter. The modpack will pop up. Click the “Install” button on Cursed Walking, and the modpack will begin installing.
You can navigate back to your My Modpacks tab to watch Cursed Walking installed. While this is being done, I would recommend adding RAM to Cursed Walking. This is done by clicking the Settings icon in the bottom left of the CurseForge App. Then, click on Minecraft. Scroll down to the very bottom of the Minecraft settings, and you will see “Allocated Memory”.
For the Cursed Walking Modern Zombie Apocalypse modpack, we recommend 4,000MB to 8,000MB of RAM dedicated to Minecraft. Just remember to never dedicate more than half of your computer’s RAM to Minecraft.
Once you have the RAM added, go back to the “My Modpacks” tab, and you will see Cursed Walking. Hover over it and click the “Play” button. The Minecraft Launcher will open, and you will need to login.
After you have logged into the Minecraft Launcher, click on Minecraft Java Edition on the left-hand side, and click the green “Play” button. Click Play again to confirm you are playing modded Minecraft with Cursed Walking, and Minecraft will open up with the modpack installed.
At this point, yon can start playing Cursed Walking and enjoy what one of the best zombie modpacks has to offer in Minecraft!
