Fun little trick that i do with frost. Put barbed wire on one side of the entrance and a bit in to the site. They rarly want to go through the barbed wire so they will natrually push the other side of the doorway. and thats where you have a trap. Works supriseingly often while they ads.
I like to put them at the top of stairs and then put barbed wire over it or put a shield in a doorway then place the trap behind it, when they make the last second push like it always happens now they don't check for the mat and then they die
Well, best placement for me is 50% of it into the doorway and 50% behind a wall... to my surprise, it works ,perfectly, if put into right door, they wont even notice it or they run past it and their teammate will be trapped while following them
@Prince Is Boogie he’s referencing the anime term trap, which refers to a boy that poses as a girl/looks like a girl. But then again, it’s universally agreed that when a trap is revealed to be a boy, it ruins the whole setting and such. But then you’ve got reverse traps which are girls who pose as boys. Apparently anime fans have quite the fondness for these types of characters.
Coca Koala He’s referring to its description. It’s called an “effective breaching tool” when all it used to be good for breaching was cheeks 40 miles away

thank you Gregor for gracing us with another hilariously helpful how to video. I really hope you can manage to make more of these, they're my favorites 😊
I remember when she first came out, I put all my traps in like the dumbest spots but no one had the instinct to look down so I kept getting round ending kills. Once in Cafe I got the last 3 with my tomfoolery. Good times.
Tops of stairs are amazing too, provided it's one where the attacker will be focused on a likely angle near it. Also behind deployable shields. A common tip i actually hate is covering the mats with wire, i find it draws attentionto them especially if the attacker isn't stupidly rushing. Underneath common rappel spots/skylights is bad, but huge lolz on the people it gets.
i wish instead for their canadian op they made one that deploys syrup on the ground that slows down enemies and makes them slower for the rest of the round
My stray is to place them inside of dead players I usually always keep at least one trap on me for this reason. If you get a carrier denied basically put it into the body of the character and expect someone to walk on it
Frost is a beast on Kanal in Map room. If you place a mat in the kitchen next door behind the counter and barricade the door you are probably going to catch something as enemies trying to rush won’t want to break the barricade so as to stay quiet and unnoticed. Works 9 times out of 10, good fun.
I mained Frost for a good while and if there's one thing about attackers I've noticed is that for how observant of seeing your head they are, they are very fucking unobservant of traps. Like your point of placing them around a corner of doorways, so many people fall for that. One spot that's really effective is the Elevator in Tower and Media Room. Find a good shadow and watch the injure points come right in.
You can actually buy black ice for the sniper 90 if you go to the bottom of bundles it's a bundle labeled frost. It comes with a head gear and black ice
Another good place for Frost mats is behind deployable barricades if your teammates put them in doorways that lead to objectives. Enemy jumps over, instantly downed (or, if they're low enough on health, dead). Really wish Ubisoft would give Frost back HER deployable barricade, though...
One thing i can add is DO NOT GET SPOTTED by drones. It takes away the entire element of surprise and enemies will for sure be more careful. I’ve gotten a lot more kills with snappy bois when i wasn’t spotted. I would suggest getting out of the obj as soon as you have your traps down, then slowly making your way back. It will help when you get better knowledge of maps so you can know where you want to put them and get out asap.
I love frost so much. The super 90 is still good, I’m a boss with it. 1v4 clutch is the last thing I remember I got with a couple days ago. Killed 3 people in like 12 seconds and the last guy saw that and literally left the game lol
i have the headsets he is talking about and its the best gaming headset I have ever owned! I tried a lot of the most popular headsets but out of all the ones I have ever owned the headset he is talking about is one of the best sounding and most comfortable. only down sides to the headset is the software doesn't really allow for much customization
Fun fact: bear traps wouldn't do much damage to a person. They were A. Made to *trap* bears, not kill them, and B. Made to trap *bears,* not people. Usually you can manually reset them and come out with a bruise or minor injuries
