Interestingly, the ar15-50 is a higher caliber rifle and in siege that means it does more environmental damage than a normal dmr. So while they don't have a shotgun, they opens walls/floors more effectively that the other weapons in that class.

Considering "Tubarão" is Portuguese for "Shark," it seems pretty clear that Ubisoft intends for him to very much act as death-from-below. He doesn't replace Pulse, but they'd probably work great together!

You heard it first here : tubaro trick - throw zoto vertically -- anticipate footsteps-- prep c4 just below steps -- shoot your zoto and detonate c4 ... This whole sequence takes almost similar time as that of pulse c4ing from below try it out yourself and let me know

I think he’ll be really really good on chalet basement in particular where theres a soft roof where you can throw the canister look at the foot prints and floor bang than for trying to play vertical or get hatch

Only fear when it comes to Mr Tub's place in the game is that if the game ever shifts towards a more util focused meta again (Something like the 20 second meta) Then being able to deny that final thermite charge or ace selma for 50 seconds could be a huge game breaker.

Until meta forced communication and teamwork and tbh that’s infinitely better than the tdm meta. Idk if it’s bc siege has died down a bit over the last 4 years, or what, but players just wanna pretend this is search and destroy. They don’t communicate, don’t strategize and just wanna drag out. I would gladly welcome the util metas return if it got rid of the tdm meta faze clan wannabes and encouraged and forced teamwork again.

@@itsssnek810 I agree 100% yeah. It’s just that if we ever to go back to that util meta, this op is going to need some insane reworks and changes. And knowing how slow Ubisoft is with updates. That could take like a solid year to happen.

@@Sobaire_SoulsI mean if the game goes back to util meta then literally half the defenders are OP for that meta. Smoke and tachanka both have time waste gadgets that also do damage. Bandit and kaid have unlimited uptime on their utility. 1 operator isn't going to suddenly break the game if we go to utility meta. That meta started because of multiple operators, not just 1

You can throw your canister from below and throw a nitro on where the footsteps are then destroy the canister and blow up the C4, the enemies slow down so they can’t really run away, if you do this with another teammate then it’s even easier, one of you shoots the canister while the other throws the C4 and that’s a free kill right there

I think now with the nade change and with now defence having another vertical/entry denial operator. We might be seeing an attacker in the future that will have an ability like a nitro cell to fill the void of attackers having less vertical explosiveness. Probably next season.

bruh you can see their feet throw the c4 then shoot the cannister and blew up the c4. this is better than pulse c4 trick.

Pulse can make it so the attackers half no clue what hit them till it happens. This op can do both and also just prevent an attacker from advancing because of that chance of getting nitroed along with the slow effects sound and visual it'll show on the attacker . Pulse combined with him could be pretty fun

I think that bank basement will be a good use for this gadget. People won't be able to run away from the C4 for default. And you could use the gadget from the pulse corner.

So Mute's jummer does not affect friendly C4 for 8 years now (so does Thatcher's EMP with breaching charges), however, the new op does affect friendly charges, becouse its wires become so cold. I bet no one uses electronics at the North Pole in siege universe.

At this point, pulse needs his sensor to just be an attachment on his gun, which probably needs to be swapped out for something better. He's kind of being left in the dust and desperately needs an ease of use and gunner op makeover.
