Great stuff. Too advanced for me now, but I love getting ideas like the ones you've shared here. I was able to catch each of your turnarounds at the end, and loved how you mixed things up with the 12 bar progressions. Thanks for sharing!
I've stalled in my ability to play. Truth is, I've gotten worse. But Justin's lessons have renewed my interest. Hope to scrape together a couple dimes to send him.
nice to see justin still is upgrading his video database with tons of great lessons, everything i know about playing i learned from you :) thanks justin, have a nice christmas
Justin! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I wish you health and love in your life. You're an amazing guy and you deserve the best. I want to thank you for doing all this for us. I think of you as a close friend and family to me after all these years. Keep up the great work. You Rock! A friend
Good lesson, Justin. Turnarounds are a tricky thing to explain and you do it well. I'm always impressed by your commitment to teaching about rhythm and counting. It's a lost art, especially rhythm guitar playing.
everything justin teaches ,adds 2 MY sound. ppl r so busy tryin 2 sound like some1 else. im usin it all 2 influnce , what i play, my sound. b4 justin, i had no blues to add 2 my music. i have learned 2 add the styles and yes even the blues chords and make a music ppl stop and listen to. thank you 4 all the lessons justin.
wonder y he uses the Key of D to demonstrate? cant rem' the last time i jammed in D? E or A for sure, and sometimes G and C... even B-flat. D jst seems like an unusual choice for a turn-around lesson
idk but he reminds me of that Giles guy from buffy the vampire slayer it's just that justin is ... "The Just - guitar player lick flay'a and in whatever county he's a blues mayor" yee-haaa
