Hey everyone. well, yesterday was a tutorial for a lovely power by April Wine, and today it's one of the heaviest songs ever recorded by Black Sabbath, haha. Keeping it versatile round here, haha.
Don't think that there's many other tutorials out there for this Sabbath Deep cut, but there is now. Hope you enjoy it.

Another fine job Kelly! I don't know how you find the time! Ive been playing for decades on and off but can't match your expertise. I appreciate watching these, i pick up a lot. I work fulltime but as a hobbyist i really enjoy cranking it up and just letting loose! 👍

Tony drops all 6 strings down 1.5 steps for this song, what your doing works for this song but wouldn't say for a lot of the sabbath songs after the paranoid album. Laney amp, Sg and P90 pick ups. Cool to see it played this way, great lesson,.luv the content.

Oh, so he's playing power chords? I just assumed that it was drop C# and one finger power chords. Still works I suppose.

@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar yes sir power chords, after the paranoid album he went down to C#.. It amazes me how many riffs he wrote in the key of c#. You still nailed the song though, if playing this live, it would be a great way of playing it without having to detune all the strings provided you don't have a second guitar for it. Already down half a step and throw the Eb to Db. Always love your song selections.

Great work Kelly! I think Tony uses c# in standard tuning, i'm pretty sure he doesn't use drop tunings (often). All songs on Vol 4 are in c# standard tuning i guess

Oh yea, ozzy’s vocal’s complete the song exquisitely , there is a lamenting , stirring ominous quality to the vocals completely complementing the riff. And let’s not forget the jarring change in tempo to “every day just comes and goes life’s just on long overdose.” I never realized it was drop C#…now I am going to rock it hard . Thanks , some sabotage please, hope in the sky or symptom.
