Been on the fence about getting a Tamagotchi Smart and I finally ordered one and the anniversary one! Your video has helped me understand the smart's function and while it's simple I seem to enjoy it more than a meets/mix since there isn't too much of a gimmick to it besides the touch screen. Although it will be different once I finally have my hands on one but I have high hopes that I'll enjoy it!

Thank you for the new walkthrough video! Love it! I totally agree that I have a mixed feeling about this version too. I ran it for a few days and put it into the box. Now I'm enjoying sanrio meets instead. I don't know but tamagotchi smart is too human-world like. They made too many changes to all the cute and unique details.

Thank you for watching! Yeah, they made many changes. I personally wasn’t a fan of the touch screen (I prefer the buttons), but it’s also great that Bandai evolves its tamas, tries new things and continues to come out with new tamas 😊

My tamagotchi smart arrived yesterday! i'm currently running 3 vpets😅 i can only ever run 2 at a time so i might have to take thE batteries out of my gigapets pixie so far ive been enjoying it one of my favorites though. my favorites out of the 13 i own have to be my p's, pix, smart, and i love the idea of the angel. amazing video btw!

I just got my Anniversary Tama Smart yesterday and I just want to say this video helped me a lot. I was struggling with actually finding the nanny function that I know from the Pix lol. Because if I remember correctly, it was in the App function on the Pix. Tomorrow is work, so I will definitely need it haha. Thanks a lot Raven.

I wish the tama smart had a micro SD card slot so we could store more pictures. Only 4 is a little ridiculous considering you can raise many different Tamas with all the smart cards and you collect alot of different frames. The pix has the smart beat in the photo album storage department.

Thank you! I’ve always trusted your videos, other people weren’t really reviewing this. Overall I’m not impressed with any Tama releases both from JP or NA. I think my collector days are over. At least it’s rechargeable which is a great step forward but I’m not inspired anymore.

I’m sorry to hear that, Dee, but I totally understand. I’ve felt the same way sometimes. But it’s also very normal to not feel inspired or excited about tamas sometimes when you’ve been a collector for a long time. Thankfully, it usually comes back. I hope it does for you too 💖

For how long have you been playing with your Tamagotchi? Have you found any issues with the rechargeable battery?

Luckily, I haven’t had any issues with charging the battery yet. I know a lot of people have had weird things happen from overcharging it. But I haven’t played with mine for that long. Hopefully, I won’t have any issues in the future🤞🍀

@@AtlanticRaven I've been using mine for about four months every day, it started to have really weird glitches with the battery unfortunately even though I used the smal charging cable and a laptop. I ordered another one and I hope this one doesn't have something similar going on 😔

hold down the homebutton and reset button until the startup screen plays. it should show a screen with a tamagotchi character in the corner and some text around it. do not touch the screen or press the home button, and once the screen turns black, the smart is turned off.

Hi I am from Sweden And have not played tamagotchi since I was a kid. Is any app still working? I whant a a tamagotchi with color but for me it is so many version and I dont understand everyting.

There is the tamagotchi on and it’s the English version of the tamagotchi and there’s an app for it too

@@yennien88 the app is still available it’s an app for the tamagotchi on which is the English version of the tamagotchi meets which is in Japanese but the English app works with the Japanese tamagotchi meets too

Good morning guys would it be interesting if we had a tamagotchi connection remake? All of the Tama fans are emailing Bandai America to get these rereleased or even remade with aspects of the on like a back lit screen. The connections are a whole lot of fun and they even allow your tama to go to pre school, school gets a job and evolves based upon care and their attributes! It would be also cool if somehow they brought back tama town but an app version of course free but, micro payments can be in the game for certain characters or energy points for your tama to play in tama town. Bandai have been paying attention to our emails, and they have been very responsive. If we all email them and let them know maybe we can get a rerelease or even better a revamped version.

@@lmaolol3880 It's been a tough choice, the Pix has more games and is really fun, but is way too big. The Smart is fun, just wish the screen response was better and the menus weren't so cumbersome. If I had to choose, I'd go with the Smart after using both for awhile.

The care taking mode is a life saver oh my god 😭 I had one of the "original" tamagachis (I got it off Amazon) and I've never had one like this, I've accidentally killed some while I was at work before 🥲
