Hello everyone~ It has been one week since I received my Tamagotchi Smart. So I thought that I would let you all know about my experience and what I have discovered so far.
To everyone worrying about not being able to play this or accidentally messing something up because it’s in Japanese, there are usually guides that people translate all the buttons and other text in the form of blog posts or websites online! Just search tamagotchi “name of release (like tamagotchi smart for example) English guide! The Japanese in these toys are super basic and there isn’t a ton of buttons/options so it would be easy enough to memorize after playing it for a while
lovelitchi and mametchi are the tamas that hatch when you take perfect care of the baby! if u always get them that means you're doing a super good job at taking care of tamagotchis!! great vid btw!!
OMG stop it’s adorable I’ve been eyeing the Sanrio one for a few days and this convinced me I love all of the features. this video was SO helpful and informative thank you so much!!
When youre obsessed with taking perfect care of your tama lol! Ive been like that, Usually when i first start the tama but my adhd will eventually have me forgetting the thing enough that i get neglect based characters lol
You can pet your Tamagotchi on the Pix, I think they were co-developed but Bandai USA/Global went with the safer more traditional interface vs the full touch UI of the what Bandai Japan brought to the table. They both have very similar animations and the higher FPS characters, it's a shame the aren't both rechargeable and it's especially shameful that the Smart is the size of a Connection while the Pix is iD/Plus Color sized and AAA powered...
I prefer removable batteries for any electronic. It's easy to use rechargeables and unlike built in batteries you can buy new ones when they eventually wear out. Its all preference.
I like the idea of a rechargeable battery, but even rechargeable batteries wear out over the years. Like if you've every had the same phone for a few years inevitably the battery starts to hold a charge for less and less time and eventually fails all together.
Lol atleast my pix will be functional for much longer. I don't like lithium ion batteries...I much prefer to use rechargeable AAA batteries any day because I want to be able to use my Tamas for years to come.
If they weren't so expensive where I live I could get this one, I only have a Tamagotchi Friends since 2017 ;-; My Favorite male Tama is Mametchi >w< You are so lucky to have one, Will be easier if I could understand Japanese LOL
@@uhidk1359 A mini screwdriver end flat head. I also found a RU-vid video of someone push the the back cover down and slide it down but it didn't work for me.
I really hoped, they'd make a b/w or monochrome model for the anniversary. For some reason I really prefer b/w tamas to coloured ones, but these days all of the exciting models are coloured, so idk, what to get.
I'm considering getting one of these! Although, my biggest worry is that there's an awful lot of text compared to, say, the ID-L which I also have. I'm a bit concerned I may have trouble navigating the menus. Is it still worth it? Or should I wait for a potential English release? I mean, the rechargeable battery and amount of content has gotta count for something lol
Yeah, something about the 8-bit graphics and simplicity really makes me love having them around. The beeps are also quite endearing as well. They really created magic with the original tamagotchis, and in turn, the connections.
Congrats on your tama! Unfortunately I'm not too sure about the room decoration. I think that it changes seasonally, but I don't think that you're able to remove it 🤔
Yeah, I love it too but wouldn't be able to play because of the language... I was hoping they would release it in english at least, but for what I've researched, this one won't be translated 😢
If you make a Amazon Japan account you can pre order the Japanese version!! It also allows you to pay in United states dollars because they automatically convert it to yen for you!! Just go to the official Bandai section for Japan Amazon they do international shipping. Just be aware there is a shipping fee and it will come out to about 60-90$ United States dollars. :)
You can make a Japanese Amazon account! Luckily they do international shipping just have Google translate everything for you! Your able to pre-order now and I believe mine ships out between the end of November to the beginning od December! :)
Ummm.....yes it can get married...there's a dating app for that. Someone obviously didn't even play one of these or watch videos with all the features before judging...
