Orkses is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!
Space marine scouts are used in a reconnaissance or sniper role. Devestator squads are comprised of full marines, they are heavy weapons squads, and possess their power armour and organs at this point. (Although unless they have decided to stay in this role past the usual time, they are slightly less experienced than a tactical marine) After the heresy the legions were broken into successor chapters due to the codex astartes being written by Roboute Guilliman.
:D This is sounding better and better by the video. I really hope some of the RPG channels get their hands on this to start up a few games. It will be great to see how people use the Orc and Eldar settings.
The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.
I am super excited to see how the game works with Aeldari and Ork party members. I am having a huge amount of trouble deciding what my first character is going to be!
I don’t know if discipline is exactly the correct wording for what a space marine goes through I would say more torture and grief to the point that they become emotionally hollow killing machines
I actually made loyalist World eater space marine chapter who thought the Horus heresy was still going on because they where stuck in a area of space that a warp storm had been going for over 10k years PS I didn't add the butcher's bails to them as they have since taken after the ultra Marines white scars and blood Angels because of the shame they felt from there primark's betrayal to the Imperium and now fight in the Emperor's name alone
The space marines are not the most effective force in The imperium of man due to their small numbers they are instead used as heavy troops for securing footholds or in similar purposes to infantry tanks
I am angry about this! There are technically only three races/ species to play as, human, eldar and ork, what if i want to play as a tau? Or a necron? Like wtf why? And yes for whom would want to say space marines are technically they're own thing, i get that but still at they're core they are human just less human than compared to before becoming a space marine. Edit: it's like saying, 'oh might as well make a chaos marine they're own thing' like no, wouldn't you be able to do that, at any point in the game?
We are playing wrath and glory, but with a rogue trader story. Im playing an ogryn. I have a assault canon, and ork chain choppa. So im havimg a hard time running a simpleton like the ogryn in a convo heavy session, plus what do i do for objectives. Im tryimg to play the ogryn who likes his little uns. And wants to protect them. So any ideas

Barry Kidd honestly you could just get a generic Ogryn model from games workshop and that should do it, if that’s a bit too generic for you then maybe kitbashing might be worth a try
First of all, thank you very much for responding - Since you surely don't have the time to answer every pesky little comment ^^. Towards the lore Topic however, i got into 40K via my interest for the lore side of it. In that regards you pretty much got the general principals of 40k very well, and understandable summarized. However many of the finer details you described are just wrong. Addmittedly, i did not even pick up a Wrath and Glory Rulebook so far but i read plenty of other 40K rulebooks(mostly for the lore parts) they contradict many details of your descriptions, particularly about space marines and orks. For this I see more or less only three explaination: Either you got some of the details wrong Ulysses messed up Lorewise and contradicts GWs proprietory sources (firstly, codizes and other rulebooks, secondly novels)(Or wrath and Glory is set in a paralell universe) Or Gamesworkhop retconned large portions of the lore entirely, such as how space marines are made and how ork society works. To give two detailed examples: You descibed that space marines are made by mechanic augmentation, genemodding and their primarchs geneseede - in that order. While Primary sources describe no mechanical augmentation of the to be space marine and further state, that they are being modiefied by being implanted with the Implants, which are created from the geneseed. (the only process that might be considerd mechanical augmentation in that is setting in the connector ports for the neural interface with their power armour and maybe the connecter ports to the powerpacks life support systems). Over their lifetime one(two) of the implants, the two "pogenoid" glands, cultivate new geneseede, who will then be in turn be used to create new sets of implants. - this is the methode, by which "regular" space marines are made and it can't be done differently, except for very fringe chases. With the Blood Angels for example, they can use their Primarchs Blood as a catalyt for the geneseede and infuse a initiate with it - who then has to be kept alive in kind of coma for a year and reawakens with his physical transformation complete. Or not at all. And the iron wariors found a very gruesume and unefficient way to grow space marines via some very discusting chaos sorcery. - I don't now how primaris are made however, so if the Wrath and Glory Rule book describes space marine creation as you did previously it must concearn it self with primaris exclusivly, or conradicts established canon. And second, only Orks are Orks. The other bunch may be so called "orkoids" alltough orks them self probably wont use so sophisticated language, but not Orks. There are Squigs and Gretchins, Snottlings and so on, but Ork is not the propper term for them. A tough and agressive squig might be considerd "orky" because it shows traits the orks associate with good things, but a Gretchin or a Snotling on the other hand are by nature feeble and cowerdly creatures, who Orks would not even consider to associate with the term "orky" And a Iffie third, unless you are specificly talking about the ork options in the Wrath and Glory rulebook, it is not true, that all orks allways sortthem selfs into one of six clans. there are also minor ork clans who are not afilliated with any of the primary clans and even more who are just subserviant to the primaries (Since in ork society might makes right and the primary ones are the most mighty) Im aware that those points of critizism might considerd Nippiky for everyone who is not a 40K Lore Nut and there is no "must have" for players and GMs to be absolutely lorefirm, but those are details might also become relevant for narative purposes (and on that note, the bad moodz are not as much more technically advanced then other orks, but instead wealthier then other orks, because their teeth grow faster and orks use those for currency- therefor they can afford to buy more and better stuff from the "da meks"... and are unilateraly envied by other orks for their wealth and disliked for their attitude.) (your description of the elder was however spot on, though it did not feature any such details.) If you wan't i can recomend you another youtube channel who is more or less based on researching and presenting 40K lore. and im not talking about a channel that's just reiterating stuff but instead makes much effort to put things into context. Altough i can also see why one might not want to bother with all kinds of such nitty gritty details. Either way, thank you for your respond. I realy hope my preceeding explainiations are helpfull to you, or otherweise at least interesting to read.
