I've never thought about that inner border bit! I've only recently started pre-pleating my difficult sarees after watching some people in my dance school do it. Definitely gonna use it for next time! 😁

This is so cool! I was always hesitant to wear such traditional pattu saris because they're usually so puffy and make you look bigger than you are but you make it look sleek and classy! Can't wait to try this technique out!
Vithaya u know i tried wearing tissue saree with the way u said pleat irioning.i could wear my saree after doing this in 10 mins. But the bottom behind section was like bulky ,but solved my forever saree problem with this video. Love u for these tips ! Thank u.

this is the most useful saree draping video I've seen, but I have the same question a couple of others have also asked, how do you pack a saree that's been pleated and ironed if I'm changing between events

thank you I used to sew my sari pleats but now thank you so much.. an also you explain so well .. I did see a difference in the setting of the pleats.. you did make me buy a steam iron.. lololo...thanks anyway very very helpful ..bl
👌, i would like to share a tip that is while ironing silk saree( especially) put thin cotton towel , because this helps in preventing direct heat on silk saree and shining and durability of silk will not deplete.
