How to power Elektron Digitakt, Digitone or Analog Heat MKII

In this video we measure the actual current draw of Elektron Digitakt, Digitone and Analog Heat MKII. We also show how to power these instruments with CIOKS DC7 power supply. To power one of these you need two of DC7 outlets plus a combination of #8800 Parallel adapter Flex and a green type 4 Flex cable e.g. the #4050 in 50cm length.

Hi, I have your DC10 power supply unit. I would like to know if it is possible to use the DC10 to power both a Digitakt and a Digitone at the same time. It seems that input #10 on the DC10 is the only input that could be set for 12 volts with high enough milliamps, but I don't know if I totally understand how it works. Let me know what you think?

Interesting. The current draw of the Digitakt keeps that low regardless of how much CPU it is using, even when it's playing the 8 voices simultaneously with effects and everything?

the digitakt has a thick center pin than other devices. is there a special cable needed?

The current doubler cable is called Parallel adapter Flex hence it makes a parallel connection and the order no. is #8800.

2 outputs per unit summed together required, 7 outputs total. It seems that way! With the DC7 & C8 you could probably power your whole rig! Loved your video on how you use the OT DT DN & Heat it's giving me so much GAS! It's such a great performance setup.
