After a couple of nights dreaming of Islam, my body this morning woke me up at 5:00 and I felt the need to start praying Fajr. I am not a Muslim or religious in general but I think Allah has something for me to do on this earth. I want to learn but I am also scared by this path. Translation of Prayer Allaahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest!) 1) Subhaanaka Allaahumma wabi hamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta'aala jadduka wa laa ilaaha ghayruka. Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praises are due unto You, and blessed is Your name and high is Your majesty and none is worthy of worship but You. 2) A'oodhu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem I seek Allah's protection from Satan the accursed. 2) Bismillaahhir-Rahmaanir-Raheem In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionalte and the Most Merciful. 3) Alhamdul lillaahi rabbil 'aalameen; Ar-rahmaanir-raheem; Maaliki yawmiddeen; Iyyaaka na'budu wa iyyaaka nasta'een; Ihdinas-siraatal mustaqeem; Siraatalladheena an'amta 'alayhim; ghayril maghdubi 'alayhim; waladdaal-leen. Ameen (Surah 1) Praise is only for Allah, Lord of the Universe; The most Compassionate, the Most Merciful; The Master of the Day of Judgement; You alone we worship and to You alone we pray for help; Show us the straight path, the path of those whom You have blessed, who have not deserved Your wrath, nor gone astray. 4a)Innaaa a'tainaa kal kauthar(1), Fasalli li rabbika wanhar(2), Inna shaani'aka huwal abtar(3). (O Prophet,) surely We have given to you Al-Kauthar. So, offer Salāh (prayer) to your Lord, and sacrifice. Surely it is your enemy whose traces are cut off. 4b) Qul huwallaahu ‘ahad(1), Allaahus-Samad(2). Lam yalid walam yoolad(3). Walam yakullahu kufuwan ahad(4). Surah 112 Say: He is Allah, the Only One. Allah helps and does not need help. He did not produce a child, and He was not born of anyone. There is no one equal to Him. 5) Subhaana Rabbi-yal Azeem: "Glory to my Lord the Exalted". 6) Sami’a Allaahu liman hamidah: "Allah listens to him who praises Him": Rabbanaa lakal hamdu: Oh our Lord, all praise is to You. 7) Subhaana Rabbiyal A'alaa: "Oh Allah, glory be to You, the Most High." Rabbigh' firli - (My) Lord pardon me. (Recite 2 times between the two sajood ) 8) Athahiyyaatu lillaahi was-salawaatu wattayyibatu. Assalamu ‘alaika ayyuhan-nabiyu warahmatullaahi wabarka'tuhu. Assalamu ‘alaina wa'alaa 'ibaadillaahis saa'liheen. Ash'had'u alla ilaha illallahu wa ash'hadu anna Muhammadan abd'uhu ea rasooluh. All compliments, all physical prayer and all worship are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O’ Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings be on you. Peace be on us and on all righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. 9) Allaahumma salle ‘alaa Muhammadin wa'alaa' aale Muhammadin kama sallaiyta ‘alaa Ibraheema wa 'aAlaa Aale Ibraheema. Innaka Hameedum Majeed. Allaahumma baarik ‘alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa aale Muhammadin kama baarakta ‘ala Ibraheema wa 'alaa Aale Ibraheema. Innaka Hameedum Majeed. Oh Allah, send grace and honour on Muhammad and on the family and true followers of Muhammad just as you sent Grace and Honour on Ibrahim and on the family and true followers of Ibrahim. Surely, you are praiseworthy, the Great. Oh Allah, send your blessings on Muhammad and the true followers of Muhammad, just as you sent blessings on Ibrahim and his true followers. Surely, you are Most Praiseworthy, the Exalted. 10) Assalamu ‘alai'kum warah'matullaah: Peace and mercy of Allah be on you. I just get from Go ogle and copy paste it here with numbers, so if anywhere you stuck you can ask , and secondly here in first point which I translated actually not recited by her but it's also recite in namaz which she forgot to add it , and it's called Sana you can RU-vid it as well to get the video and it's pronunciation which we recite in first rakat of prayer only.

I am 16, born in a muslim family. Alhamdulillah. But my family is not so religious. I was not taught to wear hijab or do salaah...... But online has taught me so much. I have now started to wear hijab wherever possible. Friends tell me to remove but its me and allah anyways... I dont care about them... Its hard but i want to get closer to allah. Now i have started praying. Today i prayed all 5. I told my family surprisingly they supported mr ❤🤲 i am very grateful for making my path easier to allah. I am fasting this ramadan for 3 weeks now. Born Muslim but I wasn’t taught how to pray but everyone prays 5 times a day in my family . I am currently 16 (almost 17) years old . I reverting to my deen as I felt Allah SWT was guiding me to pray as I have been waking up just at fajr almost everyday for a while. I believe that He wants me to be closer to Him . I found this very helpful and my family has been very supportive and encouraging about it . Inn Sha Allah my Iman will be as strong as my brothers and sisters in Palestine 🇵🇸 May Allah SWT make them tolerant to this pain and give them the strength to survive

If you keep waking up before the sun rises then that could be a sign that Allah is waking you for morning prayer. Especially if you’re not even Muslim, this could be you sign. It is for me. I just tell god before I go to sleep “wake me up naturally if you really want me to pray” then he does. It’s so cool !!!

I have been a Muslim all my life but was never reached how to pray. My dad went to work and then Mosque sometimes but I was not allowed to go with him because he does it for a quick break and he had work. I'm 35 years old and I have just recently started praying salah. I could have started praying salah even when I started puberty and reached being a teenager. I did pray 5 times sallah when I was about 10-11 years old but I used to go to mosque with my brother. I gave up on it though and I wish all muslim children be steadfast on deen and start sallah from an early age. I blame the media for the way children are turning out to be and getting further away from islam.

It is said: Where are the fasting people? They would stand up, and no one would enter except them. the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: “Whoever fasts a day for the sake of God, God will keep his face away from Hell for seventy years.”

I started off by learning how many prayers are needed in a day. there are 5 (fajr, duhr, asr, maghrib, isha). continued by reading with the videos together. when I felt a bit more confident with the pronunciation the first time, I started to pray with it even though I had to watch and read it at the same time (normally you should keep your gaze down when you pray but Allah (SWT) knows you’re still learning 💕). since you must pray everyday, you’ll understand the pattern. if it helps you, you can also write it down and when you compare all 5 prayers, you’ll realize the pattern even easier. it took me 3 months praying with the videos and afterwards I tried to pray without by remembering the pronunciations and the sounds. it was a bit tricky for the next 1-2 months without the videos but you can always go back until you’re 100% sure! and from then on I remember everything. never forget to also understand the meaning of what you pray ❤️ may Allah (SWT) make it easy for you, amin 🤲🏼✨

For anyone new to islam who might think this is the whole prayer it isn't, this is just half of the prayer. So make sure your repeat this again after doing it once. In fajr there are two rakats: 2 sunnat 2 fardh So you read two rakats and then read dikr and make dua to end the prayer. May Allah guide us all and protect us from the hellfire. Mash Allah I am very happy for you. Do you have a mosque nearby? You can easily go to one and ask to see the imam and inform him that you want to take the shahada. He will help. Also, it is always best to get advice and help from a masjid in terms of these things as opposed to the "internet people", unless they are reputable religious leaders and scholars, because there are just waaaay too many differences in opinion and comments from too many different people. Cultural differences amongst Muslims also play a big role in these differences and contribute to farther confusion. Just make sure you are following the Qur'an and the Sunnah and nothing else that so many people tend to mix up with the faith. I was born Muslim but come from a not so religious family and social circle. Plus I'm from a region that sorta has its own "hybrid Islam" which is super ridiculous at times. So as I am trying to grow in my faith....trust me I can feel how confusing and overwhelming it is and can be for a revert. But I also know we are being directed to the right path and Insha Allah Allah provide both you and me with the correct understanding and knowledge when we keep our intentions good. As a born Muslim, I do have an Islamic foundation and it's been 4 years since I started sincerely practicing and have gained a lot of insight from certain scholars. I'll try find a mosque in the town over. I am also planning on wearing more modest clothing. @@maryielang Do you know any Muslims around? Try looking up Muslim communities and mosques near you. Listen...its a process. So go easy on yourself. Alhamdulillah that you started. That is a big step towards the right direction. The rest is a life long process of learning and implementing. Somedays your faith will go up and the next it might go down...but never stop. If you make a mistake, if you commit something you shouldn't...don't let that stop you and make you turn away. Say astagfirullah, repent to Allah for the mistake/sin and get back on track right away. As for praying, learning the right words etc...ask Allah to direct you to the right sources. There's is a du'a to gain knowledge - Rabbi Jidni Ilma meaning "My Lord, increase me in my knowledge". Make the intention to learn and grow and Insha Allah He will help you like He has been helping me. I basically learned and still learning everything about my own religion from online and scholars like Omar Suleiman, Mufti Menk etc. and Islamic sites like Seekers Guidance, Islam Q and A etc. I was born into Islam but was basically ignorant for a good chunk of my life. I am still learning.

@@savannahyemane4705 i actually just bought one called salah mat, its pricey but an absolute help for new reverts. it teaches you the prostrations and does recitations outloud. it has light guidance too as you go along. it looks like a cool tool
