offering water in conch shell to lord.. in conch really auspicious. yellow cloth..actually can be any cloth, offering cloth to the lord. as simple as that. arati is waiving of auspicous items around the lord for His pleasure.. and we are serving Them as king and queen...thats why offering peacock fan and camara. also all these are supremely auspicious items.
can just use purified water or add pure edible rose water (not the chemical cheap one) or just add rose petals... or any fragrant flower. will make a video on that as well.. tq for ideas.

Hare Krishna prb. no we offer only scented water like rose water or at least plain water/holy river water , not necessary to place tulasi in the conch with water bcoz we are offering it to radharani as well and all other personalities.

Hare Krishna. you can directly fill up conch with scented water or fill it up in the pot 1st before filling up the conch just before offering it to Radha Krishna. and also the pot is used to pour the offered water .... u wont leave it in the conch itself. and then later distribute the offered water frm the pot
