I am fasting starting January 7th (because I had a confirmation from God to do it!). I only fasted once, and yet, I am scared to do it because I didn’t do well the first time. BUT, this is a confirmation from Him through this video! I definitely need to get more closer to God and ask Him to pour into my ministry! Thank you for this video!

Fast forward, I keep browsing through my different journals and I keep seeing how my goals this year is to conduct a 21 day detox or a 21 day fast. Hello Amber, I accidentally stumbled upon your video while searching for Daniel Fast. I thank God for allowing me to see your video. It made a different impact on me about FASTING and PRAYER. I have been struggling to be consistent on the plans I have set on my goal to fast for a period of time. I keep on failing and its disappointing 😓 . I really lack discipline and mental conditioning. And through watching your video, I have learned a lot about the things I need to do before and during the fasting period. I am planning and preparing for this plan for next month. And hopefully I can get past half of it. Hehehe. I was going to go back to sleep but I felt the Lord telling me to keep watching videos dedicated to finding out more about the Daniel fast. Funny that I was putting off the fast but finally decided on the next week prior to watching your video. Your video encouraged me to find additional ways to go about this particular fast. I'll definitely immerse myself in the word of God and I look forward to fasting with this beautiful community. It's really important to know what my distractions are beforehand to better prepare myself with the armor of God. From the actual planning to preparing mentally and getting a menu to setting aside prayer time and journaling, which I love. Thank you for the plethora of info that I believe is going to help me get a breakthrough...in Jesus name. I just started my fast this morning. Iam ending it at 6pm. Iam fasting for my mental health my job ( call center) gives me so much anxiety, and i worry so much. I take anxiety and adhd meds. Plus starting back college st 45 to finish my bachelor degree, new job opportunities, get closer to him. I was reading about it first and looking up resources before actually doing it. I have never done a fast before. I read some Bible scriptures and started crying and telling God/Jesus bout my issues. I been drinking water and ate a few peanuts. I made veggie soup and salad for tonight.

I've always been interested in a Daniel fast to get closer to God but I'm scared I'll fail, so I'm researching as much as I can so thanks for this video! I have tried a fast before and only drank water and no food and felt so sick, I could not do that again. So that's why I'm scared I'll fail. Research is the key to not failing lol and being prepared. I think I'll do a 5 day fasting and if I can succeed in that I'll increase it to 21 day fasting

I know this is an older video but it still applies. I love the weekly recipe idea. Cut & paste. This fast should be about spending time with the Lord not preparing meals daily. So if I have a plan with My meals then I will not be so focused on food.

I'm praying to God for 1) Deliverance from addiction & substance abuse. 2) Breakthrough for my family's court case. 3) For me to relocate to USA for my Bachelors degree. Although it's hard to pray while at work, I have been journalling and studying the Bible. I pray God will move these mountains and hear my cry!

As it’s a fast, is one not to refrain from food for some time during the day? Like when you go to work, refrain until you come back home and then you have your meal?
