I had 4 days to prepare. I was actually quite nervous . The first day I went through the reading and practiced around 10 tests and I got the hang of it. The 2nd day I practiced writing task 1 , by going through vocabulary I could use and making notes of that. I tried to write 2 tasks on my own and went through some examples of each type- bar, charts, diagram, pie chart etc. to know how the paragraphing worked. The latter half of the day, I spent it by practicing my speaking skills. To refresh my mind, I practiced listening tests in between- around 3 listening tests in total . The 3rd day I focused on writing task 2 and vocabulary. I tried writing around 4 essays on my own once I went through the notes and noticed how the paragraphing worked. I put it into ChatGPT to roughly know my band for my answers and followed the suggestions made by the AI. I also practiced speaking. On the final day, I spend the morning practicing speaking. At noon, I tried doing 2 reading tests and 1 listening test. I also wrote 1 test for the writing test to revise my vocabulary. I spend the night watching an English movie to get my brain working in English lol. On the day of the test, I just went through the notes of vocab I made and the notes on how to paragraph the writing section. That was it. I barely studied for 2 hrs on the last day to calm my nerves. I got an overall band 8
Where did you get the material to study from? I want to study and prepare for it but I don't know what are the materials and where I can find them so any help please??
I wrote my IELTS last month and I scored: Listening - 8.5 Reading - 8.5 Writing - 7.5 Speaking - 7.5 Overall - 8.0 I had 3 weeks to prepare and I followed your tips. Thank you so much, Ms. Asiya! Your tips worked!
Ever since I watched your video, I don't know why, but I feel so stupid and unmotivated to take the test. I'm sure I'll fail the IELTS band I want. I even feel like I can't answer all the questions you give. All these years I studied English and felt like I'm still an A1😢
5 months ago I got 5.5 in mock IELTS and a couple of weeks ago I got 6.5 , progress by 1.0 , I haven't got my passport yet I have 1 year until I take the real exam , hoping to get 8+ , do you think It's attainable in this amount of time ?
I need you advice. I saw 2 book of Cambridge IELTS Academic 17 but there are 2 options. Can you tell what is the different between Academic and General trainer. Thanks for you help!
How much months preparation is required for ielts if you only have basic level knowledge of English(like u understand english with normal accent, can write english with basic vocabulary, have just experience of reading paragraph questions of 12th q paper and answering it, and feels bit struggle in speaking case as I know what to speak but feels difficulty in saying spontaneous fluently ) So how much months preparation will be required for me?
It depends on what score you need. You can easily access what your level is in Reading and Listening by taking one of the official practice test. Then I recommend taking an intensive course of English and concentrating on improving your English skills. Once your level is closer to what's required, then start your IELTS preparation.
@@FasTrackIELTS but seems like I did fill in the form and in the e-mail sent in response I found only a fastrack internet page. Scans can be attached if needed
