Just wanted to say what a blessing you are Christa. I enjoy your calm good sense. I’m a semi nomadic person who lives in a motorhome and moves from job site to job site in the woods. I have had a few pots of flowers and herbs that I place in my shower when I’m moving and put outside while I’m on a job site. Today I bought a mini greenhouse for less than 40 dollars and I bought veggie and edible flower starts (nasturtium, onion, cilantro and strawberry) and a bunch of heirloom seeds. I plan to grow as much of my own food as I can. I can put my pots in the trailer that I haul water with. It’s a little strange for people in my line of work to have a garden but I’m giving it a shot this year. I also educated myself years ago on over a hundred local wild edible plants and over 25 medicinal plants. I’ve been using ground water (I purify it before using) for over ten years. I was an EMT for years. I also have military experience. I’ve done almost everything I can to prepare for the worst. I trust Heavenly Father to take care of what I can’t. It is well with my soul.

That's good planning. Have you thought about use of water pipes to grow hydroponic plants ? You could attach these to your mobile home in series to grow lettuce, strawberry, silverbeet? Shalom Christa from Israel. Yes, this is important what you are saying to those out there about survival. Sadly though there is much ignorance to this end which as usual is left to the last minute when its too late. As believers we are aware these are times where things are about to happen in accordance with prophecy and so we who live in the desert are preparing for what is imminent in Israel. We avoid cities as much as possible as these are prime targets but it is a matter of time before the criminal element will find us. We believe the words of Psalm 91 and therefore under no illusions. I am an ex Rhodesian and my country fell to political betrayal and blatant washing of hands. Thank you for this program as it will be a great help to your country and others in a possible war limelight.Bless you and may the peace of the Lord be with you.

I am a widow and I live paycheck to paycheck. These things are expensive and not anywhere near my budget. Guess I pray that God will see me through. Or I get to go home with him .

With all the crap I been through, God has provided when needed. It sure looked bleak at times and wasn't easy. Yes these things are expensive and family is not on the same page. They think I'm nuts. But I do what I can in small steps. I have a written checklist and check off when i can get them. Luckily I grew up in a rural area and still spend a lot of times outdoors. My only problem now is, a lot of the edible resources in my area no longer exist in the woods I grew up in. There are also a lot of deadly look-a-likes. Think of what you need for yourself. Even if you are 100% prepared, God will still call you home when your time is done. Nothing you can do will extend HIS timing. So faith is the most important. You will be surprised how little you actually need. I am on a track to rid myself by another 50% of my belongings in the next few months. I also cut out all spending, unless I deem in necessary in a grid down / homesteading situation. I do not even have cable. I watch RU-vid only.

I have been following the lead of the One who knows the end from the beginning for years, and trust that the completely off grid location He led me and prepared me to be self sufficient on is where He wants me to be for the times ahead. Abiding in Him in faith is always the most prepared position to remain in, as He will lead as only He knows best. I love your videos, and have learned much from listening to you. If I add anything to this it would be to get and use a Freeze Dryer to preserve every food you can possibly preserve. Freeze Drying is only initially expensive, then it quickly becomes a huge blessing and preserves foods for up to 30 years.

If you have AAA, you can get maps for free, too, just call and request for the states you want. They used to do Trip tics, where they'd print out or cut and bind sections of the map that you'd travel through, then highlight your path and when you get to the top of the page, you flip the page and continue on. This was before mobile phone apps and GPS replaced paper maps. But if cell towers go down, and you need to get somewhere, it's good to have a paper backup. I went to visit a friend who jyst moved to a different state, so I called AAA and requested two sets of maps for their state and the surrounding states along with some fun touristy things to do in their new backyard and surrounding areas. I added it to the package of things I put together as a housewarming gift.

Paper maps are essential. And phone numbers and email addresses written in a book. Have pens and paper handy. And tape, and photos of family members.

My personal opinion is this. Watch and practice as many homesteading, prepping, outdoors, and bushcraft videos as you can. Your situation is going to differ based on where you live, and what your comfort level is. For example I grew up in a rural town without air conditioning, so I am comfortable with eating bullfrog legs and freshwater fish. Also swimming in the local lakes / ponds and rivers. My wife who grew up in the suburbs won't even touch some of what I catch. I had to trick her into trying deer, pheasant, and duck. I camp alot, and know there are many ways to stay cool during the hot summer. I had to prepare for hurricanes and be vigilant during tornado season. I did disaster relief and seen what an ef3 can do that hit 2 towns away. Sadly I shoveled 3 foot snow storms. I've been without electricity for a week in the dead of winter, and I was the only one who could provide a hot meal for our neighbors. In your practice you will learn what gear works and don't work for you. Keep a written notebook to keep yourself refreshed of what you learn. As we speak my phone is down to 15% battery, what if I couldn't recharge it? That is why a paper notebook is best. For the last almost 10 years, I lived in an apartment. Learn how to grow foods indoors. There is a lot of nutritional foods that don't need pollination.

A have 50+ lighters but I would definitely suggest ferro rods as well. Larger ferro rods. If you are using lighters for cooking, heat, burning trash etc you will go through lighters fast. Plus humidity rusts lighters and they go bad sometimes before the lighter fluid is gone. Have a backup

Christa, your presentation of preparing for imminent war is somewhat different than mine. Your suggestion of getting all paperwork together is something I have done except I have made copies and given them to my adult children. Your advice for getting medical training, I certainly need to revisit. Having been a scoutmaster for +-12 years living outdoors is/was no problem. First aid training was a yearly review and provided a well trained leader. That was about 20 years ago. Retraining is not a bad idea. Your other suggestions are also very good plans to have but the way and speed things are developing time appears s short. I am an old airborne ranger of 50 years ago and my immediate plans are to reinforce our present location. Although we have a approximately a year or so of stores and 2 garden plots, 30x35’ each and a couple of smaller plots if we are not caught up in an assault on out home we will be fine for a year or so. I guess my point to all of this is time is short to prepare from “go” and you need other people with different skills and knowledge to get through what may come. I enjoy your channel and the information you present. Keep up the good work and God bless you. This will be my last stand.

Prescription fills are a very difficult thing to get out into the future; especially if you are on Medicare or taking a Controlled Substance prescription. If you think preparation for war is realistic I think that is optimistic.

one resource for us here in the U S is CERT. it's run by (usually) county sheriffs. it's free with the exception of cpr/defib certificates, and some if not all will also give you some equipment such as gloves, goggles, hard hat, and so on and a bag to put it in. they have videos here on yt. but if you go in person you get the actual hands on exercises that really help to retain what is gone over in the classes. even kids as young as 14 can take the course.

I found out a lot of info about potassium iodine tabs. First, you want iodide not iodine. Check it out, there is a difference. Second, not recommended for over 40. Children do need it. Does not protect against all radiation effects. Sealing off wondows/doors probably necessary but for how long - we need to replenish air. 🙏 hope we need never find out, stay safe.

I think this is good information but unrealistic for the average American. I trust God, he knows me and my situation. I am a student of Soviet era persecution, especially Christian's. It's especially helpful in seeing what's happening right now. I look how the Church is responding to the total surveillance in China. This is what I need. Yes, I would love to move in the country and be off grid with food and weaponry. Real life for me isn't this. Look up how some Japanese used miso and sea vegetation to combat the nuclear reality they faced. Even recovery for some who were exposed using macrobiotic principles. Jesus is the only safety we hold. Rather that means I perish or suffer persecution, illness and torture. Let me be faith filled and NEVER deny my Lord

I have my 93 year old dad living with me. If we have a nuclear event and we are trapped for weeks in our home or in a bunker with no electricity, communication, transportation, etc... and my dad or any of us dies of any cause, what we can do to manage the dead body until we notify the authorities? I can't bury anybody in the backyard with radiation. I am very concerned.

I was watching another prepping channel yesterday and he was suggesting getting body bags to store your gear if you have a lot. I didn't know body bags could be purchased! Without sounding morbid, perhaps buy one and stash it away somewhere just in case? Praying for you that it is not something you must ever deal with.

Tightly wrapped and taped PVC tarps or body bags should be good enough for week or two. After that... Burry in backyard if possible. Damn hard to cremate without really high temp furnace...

We never had to worry about nuclear issues. I myself would cremate the best way I know how. My love one would understand completely. My belief is absent from the body present with the Lord. Our bodies are only shells to hold our spirits. So forgive me I'm not being heartless. Talk it over with your dad if he would have an understanding. God Bless you taking care of him even now. Credit card bills will not "call on your note", as it is unsecured credit. Yes it would affect credit, as anything else would. The only ones to be concerned about are car and mortgage/rent.

If you don't pay your credit card debit they can put a lein on your house so you should be concerned about all debt.

Hear what you're saying. But. My insurance company will only allow a 30 day supply. My doctor wants to give me a 90 day supply, but insurance won't allow it. Out of my own pocket would cost $1,000 a month. Did that when I didn't have insurance. I also spent $7,000 on dental work, only to be told a year later I need 6 more crowns at minimum. That was money I could have used on other supplies. Plus some places would trigger the authorities if you purchase and take delivery of fire arms, hazmat / cbrn suits as a civilian and not a first responder. Government has made it so tough for the average citizen to get prepared and self-sustaining. When SHTF is when these regulations will change. Until then, all we can do is prepare how we can.

What's the earliest you can get a refill on your prescriptions? Can you get a refill every 3 weeks instead of 4? If not, I've heard of people skipping their prescriptions once a week, and saving the pills for a rainy day. Of course, this might not be possible if your medicine MUST be taken daily, but otherwise, it might be doable.

Half mask with p100 filters, simple dust proof goggles (some skiing goggles works just fine), rain gear should help you with ☢️ dust, after week or two after the attack.

Doctors DON'T give you a years prescription. I am on BP meds and only allowed every month less really _ 26 tabs a time. I even got told off by a receptionist for ordering before every last one had gone! Leaving me without 3 days bec we then wait 72hrs for processing and more if not available

I just watched a video (salty cracker) about how many food distribution/processing centers have been destroyed in the past few months, plus Billy boy is buying up thousands of acres of farmland across the US; he ain’t gonna grow food, he wants to control the market. This is a good subject to address here. War is not the only major concern-politics are just as deadly.
