As someone who has interviewed students for medicine, I would suggest that people be themselves. You have gotten that interview because you have passed the academic and extracurricular side of things. In these interviews we want to see that you are a people person, your empathetic side and your ethical side.
Kenji Tomita I have recieved one offer from Staffordshire, and just literally got one from Coventry! Just waiting on a Edge Hill now and I will have all my decisions!😁
Maybe stuff about what we might need to know about the NHS eg structure of nhs, junior doctor contract etc. I don’t really know how much detail we would be expected to know as BMA website is full of jargon
Haha thanks for the video Kenji. I had an interview at QMUL and it was a panel MMI. Whereas Uni of East Anglia was a MMI one after the other. P.S: Got an offer from both but have decided to study at UEA. Been following you for a long time and just wanted to say keep up the great work! @razumaki 👊❤️
Worried I won't get an interview as I only got a UCAT score of 2400. I'm in Australia though and due to the shortage of rural doctors there is a scheme that Universities do where they have to give a minimum of 28% of places to rural students. I am rural but I'm sill not even sure If I met the threshold :/ Trying to be positive. I want to start preparation early, I made the mistake of giving myself less than a month to prepare for UCAT and don't want to make that mistake again
I've applied for a very new medical program at St. Andrew's that doesn't have a whole lot of specific information about the mmi. Do you have any ideas about how you'd prepare for that? It's not until late January so I've a lot of time to prepare
I'd prepare the same way as I would any interview to be honest! Then closer to the time if they release some information you can make your preparation a bit more specific to that
