The RBI Assistant Exam is one of the top exams of 2020 and the 2020 Prelims Exam is now over so you should focus your preparation for the Mains Exam. What should be your strategy for RBI Assistant Mains 2020? In this video I will explain the strategy for all the sections- General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, English Language, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability (Quant). Great strategy sir.. Highly useful.. Having cleared the RBI assistant prelims, I was looking for a nice strategy to follow and found yours extremely useful.. Just gave a cold mock in oliveboard as you suggested and could get only 87.5 marks.. Anyways that's not gonna cease me! I am an IT professional and hardly get time to prepare. Could you please help me with a strategy for working aspirants on how to manage time? It will be really helpful sir. Expecting one from you!

All the best for Mains. Your cold mock marks are much higher than average. Few pointers: 1. On weekends you must forget everything else and just prepare for exams. It is possible to devote 14-16 hours on weekends. You can opt for Saturday shifts if your IT job allows it & ask for a comp-off on Monday (I used to do that during my TCS days, Mondays at home are amazing and I could avoid Monday traffic) 2. Use the flight mode of your phone well. During the weekday we have lot of distractions, whenever you are studying use this and FOCUS. Calls/Instant messages can wait. 3. If you are cooking yourself then try to cook once every 2 or 3 days and use microwave, this will help you get more time, it did for me. 4. If you spend a lot of time travelling use that time to revise GA. You can use my Quiz videos or other videos you can find on RU-vid - so keep listening (no need to even watch, that listening during long bus/train rides works wonders!)

88 obc 15th 4th shift hyderabad....i felt almost all are correct....i dont know whether i will be selected or not because hyderabad cutoffs are high but i wont give up my hope and will prepare for mains

Ravi, you have VERY high chances if your accuracy is high, so do not worry about results. I know, the tension in this time is the highest but keep calm and BELIEVE in yourself! Don't think like that Rajyashree! Of course vacancies are less but there are many factors involved- don't forget NORMALIZATION is there! In one IBPS exam 2 years ago I had attempted 77 but I got 81.25 because of normalization. You must never give up hope. I believe in you, and you must believe in yourself too! Keep preparing for Mains and forget about Pre now. Hard work is never wasted, I promise you that. Cheer up and keep fighting! :)

Glad to help, Dipali! Yes, the full course is bit costly at Rs. 899, but you only need the Mains mocks so you can get it for Rs.399 (10 tests). You can take sectional & topic tests from some other test provider. No matter what test provider you choose, after every mock test just try and go through every question even if you marked it as correct. Analysis of mocks is more important than which mock you choose.

@@dipaligujar5735 They try to confuse students by giving many types of offers. The GK Supplements and others they offer are pretty useless. You can buy those things from cheaper providers. Always try to buy only Mains mocks from OliveBoard and avoid all the rest. Right now they are offering RBI Asst Mains at 399 and IBPS PO Mains at 499- these 2 are good enough (These 20 Mains Mocks you can use for all exams). So within Rs 900 you can have high quality Mains coverage. Always buy 1 course first and then if you like it you can buy more. Never go for pricey courses like Rs 2k+ things.. So for now just buy the 399 Mains mocks and solve every single thing there. Then, if you need more you can buy. Try to spend less money when starting. Hope this helps you 🙂👍

You have great attempts and a good chance of making it to Mains, cutoff for your category will be much lower and you stand a great chance. Yes, there is a chance for NABARD DA exam but in the later part of the year.

Sir, the problem is in ga section.. idk why.. i always prepare it properly.. and revise it thoroughly before exam. Even attempt a good no. Of ques, bt my marks in ga are always least. I dont understand why that happens.

1 reason can be that you are not preparing from MCQs, simply revising won't be enough you need to solve lots and lots of MCQs. You will find some on my channel to help you out & test your knowledge.

Sonali, do not worry, your attempts are quite good. Mumbai has one of the highest vacancies so you definitely have a higher than average chance of making it. Prepare for Mains without any fear, your hard work won't be wasted!

Shruthi, I know this waiting game is very painful. I have been there, I know how you feel and I am sorry it has to be this way. It is pathetic that we still need to wait longer for the results, they do not care about students at all.. Chennai has the 2nd highest amount of vacancies after Mumbai and so there is a good chance for you, just that you need to have high accuracy. Also normalization is a huge, huge factor so your score can get inflated due to that as well, so do not despair when you see the high attempts of others. Sure, in the end only RBI knows what will happen. A tip for you if you are having problems to study in this time- what I used to do when results were delayed was I put my mobile on flight mode and studied for 2-3 hours. During that time I was detached from the world and could focus well. After that, i switched on my mobile and checked results. you can do this. Otherwise every notification, every ring of the mobile increases nervousness. All the best for results, I hope you make it.

8 months is unnecessary. If you have time 6 months is enough. The cost benefit of reading 8 months is not good, even if a few questions are asked to you from a year back it won't make much difference- 80-90% will be from last 6 months.

Sir, I got 59.38 % in Bcom But I have 69 % in Mcom. Can you please tell me whether I am eligible for RBI Grade B exam or not?

sorry, it has to be 60%. if you can contact your university and request a rounding off so they can certify it as 60% it will work. Upto 0.5% many unis allow so you can try that way.

Sagar, the cutoffs will go high this year but the vacancies in Mumbai are the highest and I feel you definitely have a higher than average chance. There is a big impact of normalization as well because of the multiple difficulty levels of the different papers so if your paper was on harder side your marks will be increased. Keep preparing for Mains and just hope for the best!

What are the passing marks and cut off marks for pwd person in rbi prelims

There are 3 subcategories of PWD (Persons with Disabilities) namely VI (Visually Impaired), HI (Hearing Impaired) and OH (Orthopaedically Handicapped) and usually cutoffs for these are pretty low but they do vary across states. This year I expect: PWD HI to be around 35 to 45 PWD OH to be around 55 to 70 and PWD VI to be around 35 to 70

@@bhumika2995 Yes time is less. But today is 23rd Feb. If we assume exam is going to be around 15th March then you still have 3 weeks! Don't wait for the results, many people are wasting time by waiting for that. Keep preparing from today itself. Even if you don't qualify for RBI Mains this preparation will help in Mains of some other exam. Wish you all the best and god bless you for all upcoming exams!

Your attempts are good, for GEN category it can be a bit of a borderline case but for any other category it is quite good.

@@Soumi_Rooj_Bhandary no you won't get that benefit as vacancies for OBC are 0 for Kolkata. But never forget the power of normalization- anything is possible. And people who attempted huge marks- we still don't know how accurate they are. Keep preparing for Mains. If not in RBI, then in some other exam you will be helped by that.

Mohit, there is very less time left for this exam and in this time the quickest way to improve in this section is just to give mocks and practice sectional tests in English. But, you should have a long term approach to improve in English and for that you need to read English newspapers, watch English movies and every day for 5-10 mins practice speaking in English. Try to read something everyday and summarize it in your own words in 200-250 words, it helps a LOT. Think of improving English over the course of months, not days. Best of luck.

Neeraj, A&N islands ko SBI me Bengal circle k andar mana jaata h, toh Bengal ka jo cutoff h, wohi tumhe follow karna padega- Bengal ka cutoff is same as A&N cutoff. Pehle SBI me 14 circles hue karte the but abhi 17 hogye h.

Haan. Sirf Sectional cutoff hi nahi, usme sectional locking hota hai toh jabtak ek section khatam nahi hota you cannot skip to the next section.

It will depend a lot on your state and your shift's difficulty. Don't focus on such things just keep preparing for mains, that prep will never be wasted.
