Ok thanks for the tip of not pressing when wet, because I literally am trying to learn how to press some hydrangea and they're fresh out of a rainstorm haha😅

I have to see if you've done Irises because I completely failed pressing one from my flower bed and they're not in bloom anymore so I messed that up lol

Oh no! I hope you don't feel discouraged and try again when it blooms! I don't have any personal experience pressing Irises, but I would try pressing it whole and petal by petal. When in doubt press petal by petal!

Hydrangeas are very thin so I find that they're completely pressed within 1-2 weeks!

Hi! I personally use white construction paper or computer paper try to stay away from wax paper and paper towels.

I pressed my hydrangea petals for 3 weeks, after the first two they looked great but now they’re all brown and lost all their color

I no! I know it can be discouraging to find flowers brown, it happens to me as well! It could've been those petals were older, they had more moisture than others, the placement in the press, etc. It will take some trial and error to get it right but sometimes it's just the flower!
