Also, I was delighted to recently find that not only Missouri Star Quilt but also Connecting Threads are featuring your 3 yard patterns and books, some with 3 yard bundles. Congratulations to you and Fabric Cafe! It is good to see your ideas and talents recognized. A good idea is hard to hide, it spreads. Keep spreading good ideas!
I have realized that accurate cutting and proper pressing are the backbones of a quilt. Accurate sewing is important, of course, but so much of the fitting together of the quilt comes from the fundamental backbones. You do a good job of explaining this, new quilters and maybe not so new ones really need to know how to do the basics well. You all do so well with fabric and pattern choice, I truly enjoy all your videos and watch many again for inspiration.
When I first started quilting I pressed to the dark side but as my skill level has improved I now press all my seams open! Yes it takes a bit longer (and some hot fingers) but I love how flat my pieces are and how much better it looks!
