I just started my online custom t-shirt business and this is my biggest problem. I accidentally started my business ahead of schedule now I'm just trying to get it to run smoovely. Thank You!
Honestly the best video i've seen for how to price custom t shirts, even after only watching less than a minute based on how you divide costs. I did have an idea of how to price t shirts but wanted clarification from someone who's already in the business. Cheers bro!
This is the third video of yours that I have watched. I like how you put yourself and ideas out there for everyone. Keep it up. There are a lot of haters out there.
Thank you for this video. I always have people tell me I charge too much...and I usually charge lower than your prices here. This will give me a breakdown that shows how I price if I need to. Everyone seems to want something for nothing. They don't understand that they are getting something "customized", not a mass production product. Again, thank you.
Man, I wish I would've found you about 2 months ago. I've been just kind of winging my little "business" but after your videos I've got a better idea about what to charge and where to get stuff! Thank you!!
OMG!! Thank you sooooo much for this video. I’m just starting and have been clueless on a price break down, I’ve been winging it and charging $20-$25 per shirt.
Very Helpful. I have been making custom T-shirts and placing decals on items for the past year. I was just charging for the materials alone. I never really thought about charging for design time or my labor. Thanks.
I finally found you! Swear I’ve been researching how to price custom shirts for 2 days! So thank you for being so informative! BUT ONE THING WHAT ABOUT THE INKJET HTV PAPER FOR DARK COLORS??? 👍🏽🙏🏽😁
I’ve watched a lot of videos and this is the best explanation that I’ve heard. Which I understand, thank you for breaking it down. I like that you added some what if’s and what you sometimes do. Thank you!
Just found you, u are handsome (I’m 71 happily married) ur voice is clear and ur right on with info. I’m not selling just making shirts for sons and relatives. I’m going to go back and listen to everything u Have out there; just for tips. God bless your business
I found this very helpful and that I wasn't too far off for our pricing strategy. Sometimes I'm a bit off but some of it was in the name of learning. I'd like to see your glitter pricing to compare. Good job!!
This the first video of yours I have seen and it was a tremendous help to me. I just started my custom apparel business and I have just been winging the pricing after seeing this video I have a much better perspective on pricing. I'm subscribing and watching all your videos, Thanks Bro.
STAN, Your the man. Great Video mate. I always appreciate people like yourself that give up their free time to educate others. All the best from the UK.
You sir just saved my Bacon! This was fantastic and very well done. This is just what I needed! I'm off to binge watch the rest of your videos! Keep them coming!
@@StanBanks Its out of stock...will it be available again? Does it include prices for other printing methods or just vinyl? Transfers, sublimination? Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏
I CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEOS A FEW DAYS AGO & THEY ARE VERY INFORMATIVE, IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE IM IN CLASS !!!!!!! IM NEW TO THE BUSINESS & IM LOOKING FORWARD TO VIEWING MORE OF YOUR VIDEOS TO GAIN EVEN MORE KNOWLEDGE , THANKS IN ADVANCE & KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!!!!!!!!
Hey Stan, I'm new to this business and really appreciate your video. It was clear, concise, logical and easy to understand and apply. The resulting price using your model is fair and competitive. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Hey Stan, what about shipping costs and also the larger you go in shirt sizes, the more expensive they cost, so how does that figure in? Thanks in advance and keep the great videos coming!!
This was great for me! I am new to the apparel world.. helping my teammates and friends get their printing needs and earning some cash. This helps me to understand better how to price it out! Thank you!
Nice Video! I was wondering how you came up with the cost per press. Did you just make up the $1,$2,$3 costs or did any math go into it? Because I would say the heat press is a capital cost more than a variable cost. Did you mean those are like labor charges?
True story Stan. When i came across this video that was my first video seeing you. Now that i have watched many more of your vids it feels funny when this comes across my timeline again. It makes me recall when i first started printing. Keep up the good work. Amen.
I ran across your video looking for this exact information. I will be sharing. Thank you for the breakdown. It was very simple to understand. Now if I can find the one for discounts. I have an order for 48 shirts (friend/customer is supplying the shirts) and need to determine the discount price.
I am glad that I found this.... you have given be a baseline that I can work with rather easily.... but you need to check your math...lol 20.00-5.25=14.75 still an awesome process to see in action!! Thank you!!
Me and my sister are jumping into the shirt print business as a side hustle as well. This is all informative and we will def be asking questions in the future as we start the business.
What it do brother, I came back to show some luv for the video and your work. I just started my small custom T Business and didn't know where to start pricing cause I felt like I been cheating myself and I have. I'd be interested in seeing some bling designs and seeing more color designs. I also want to know if it's possible to combine airbrushing with vinyl... Big ups dawg
Great video. you made it easy and simple to understand. I already had this figured out, I'm looking for your video on Bulk orders. thanks for you videos!
You did a wonderful job with this video!!! Thank you so much!!! It all make sense and fell in place. I wrote thng down that you did. Thank you again!!!
Very impressive video! Great info. Def will subscribe. Can I ask where I should purchase vinyl for a very small start up. I don’t think I want to purchase by the yard yet because I don’t have that many customers but it may just be better to purchase more now and save in the long run. What do u think?
Hpn.tshirtsidehustle.com is my affiliate link every time you order. You should defiantly purchase by the yard even if it’s one yard. That’s 3 shirts. It’s about $7-8. You don’t need to buy 5 yard rolls but 1 or 2 yards is a good start.
love the info you have done for this. Im just starting up and already got an order from someone and I am at a loss on how to price them. how do you figure cost when people get multiple shirts? do you charge them less per shirt than the cost of one shirt for $20? do you charge them like 10-15 per shirt if its multiple shirts?
Omg!! I really thank you for taking your time to give us the details.. Im new to this business and I didn't know how to charge.. now my question if a clients order more than a dozen how much will be charge for a shirts? Let said 25 shirts.... thank you
What you charge depends on your market too. In some markets with lots of silk screeners in the area, it is harder to get volume, so you are limited to the custom shirt market. In high tourism areas, adding spot color to a screen print is an option to sell shirts with common names. You can sell to gift shops the addition of spot color such as tavern name graphic, vineyard, etc. as add ons.
So helpful! I’ve been watching all your videos starting at the beginning. In any other video, do you go over pricing for printing on transfer paper and then heat pressing onto a shirt? Thank you for the knowledge!
Wow! This was really great info and help. I appreciate it. This is like the 3 video of yours I've watched. I came across you today via one of Reyes the Entrepreneur videos. :)
Hi just some quick question I heard you say in some of your previous video that you teach kinda new to the t-shirt world but love this do you mentor are teach I'm in the New Orleans area and I really love your style and techniques
This is a great video. Would love it if you could share what you had written on that paper you were working off of. :) This is a lot to remember. Look forward to more videos.
I’ve been working on my own business about a year now.. I follow your Instagram & I really appreciate your video because I have been going through a lot of trail and error and with your awesome thoroughly explained video I now have the hang of how to price my items. I had a quick question in getting into the t shirt business my self and I was wonder how do you go about doing the pricing for iron in paper? Would you use the same method as you would use for the vinyl cost
I wrote all the missed information in my book. The Heat Transfer Vinyl Pricing Guide. It’s up on my website. But to give you value here. $15 for the picture alone no shirt no words. Then build your price from thsre
