What a difference. As a plumber it's, $#!! goes down hill and, pay day is Friday. It must be really a a bit of a roller coaster ride with art. Keep up the great work!

Hey Matt thanks for the vid. Good information as always. I bought myself a canon printer and do most of my printing, unless it’s a large print which I outsource. I would say that the commerce side along with printing is a deep learning curve that I really was not expecting but I have a better handle on it now. When I first started and outsourced my printing I had a difficult time of getting the prints to match what I was seeing on the computer screen, especially Milky Way photography. Good thoughts to you and your family.

you know, you made this video at the perfect time. I had 3 people in the last 2 weeks ask if I sold my photos and I have been considering it now and you made this video at the perfect time. I think my photos are ok but never thought print worthy till my general doctor asked for a print of one of my photos, should I tell him what I paid and let him determine my value as a 1st customer? After that, I may get a few different prints and rent a space at my local farmers market to advertise my self.

Shopify is fairly expensive if you were to use it for photography art. Unless you are selling a lot of work it might be worth it.

I sell my landscape then wildlife. Almost a 5:1 ratio.

The income from selling prints as a photographer can vary widely depending on various factors such as the photographer's level of skill and experience, the demand for their work, their marketing efforts, the pricing of their prints, and the platforms they use for selling. It's difficult to provide a specific figure as it can range from very little to substantial amounts. Some photographers may earn a few hundred dollars per month, while others may earn thousands or more. Just before Christmas you can earn a lot if you product, pricing and marketing is really good.
