Copart is a good start but also remember there is iaa aution insurance too is bigger than copart auction salvage cars and also there is junk yard buy 1 car for 100$ take it to the junk yard you get 3 to 4 hundred dollars maybe more depends what kind of car and condition of the vehicle....👍
Where are you located that scrap prices are that high ? They havent been that high here in Ohio for about 5 years. Its only $50 now a ton now copmared to what was $200 plus, thats why I got out of the business.

The police will never tell you to commit a theft 😂 if you are talking about towing away somebody's vehicle there is a lawful reason for it and if it wasn't unlawful you take it up with the police and courts not the towing company that was called out by the police because the tow truck driver doesn't know any better.

I personally don't work with motor clubs because of strict training, licensing, and insurance requirements. all those things add cost. stick to simple cash calls with your locals. save money on overheard and easily afford to charge less while maintaining profits.

Frankie, usually the governmental agency will send out a Request For Proposal (RFP) when their existing contract(s) is coming to an end. If that's the case here, ensure that you read it thoroughly and that you are compliant with everything inside. RFP's can be quite intensive, and you may not meet the minimum requirements with regards to availability, trucks, employees, training, insurance, etc. As far as, should you participate? @@donarcher5555 Don, thanks so much for the quick response. Although the opportunity sounds good. I don't feel ready to commit to a contract. My company is just getting started. I'm at two years since starting. I would like to get at least two more trucks to start hiring, but wouldn't want to get too deep into debt to get them. Although sometimes I feel I need them because I pass on jobs because I'm busy with other calls.
