Hey Mark, thanks for watching my video. The data I use to calculate my costs is straight from QuickBooks. They are my actual figures for my operation. It's just me over here so It's simple.

Very good video! I actually did a similar video I have not posted yet but I literally input everything manually on paper. Keep up the good work, and listen be honest from the beginning You're affiliate with towbook saves money for you. Don't be afraid to let the people know that you're looking for a win-win. If the audience think you're doing everything for free and then you switch up they're going to think that you just changed up trust me😉. Awesome job though who made that chart for you?

Hi appreciate it. Can you please guide me how I can charge for a secondary tow. How much extra charges I need to charge a company for taking out a vehicle from a storage and then towing it.? Help and guidance will be appreciated.
That is something you would have to work out for yourself. Secondary tows usually require the tow op to pay cash out of their pocket to get the vehicle released. I'm not a bank. I typically charge 10% or $100. Whichever is greater.
this is good info. What kind of trucks do you run? I am wondering if I should get a gas truck or diesel. I dont wanna be disappointed . I also wanna make money off the truck and not spend money on it. I ge there will be things . Diesel is just so much more money. But they tow so good
Thank you. I run 6.7 Cummins. It’s probably the most dependable motor you can get. Gas or diesel depends on what you’re using it for. I do 97% roadside towing daily so lots of miles and abuse. You’ll need to maintain your truck no matter what. I choose diesel because they last 2-3x longer. I think that you’ll always get what you pay for so if you want something that’s going to last, I would buy a used truck for multiple reasons, one being you’re going to get the best deal compared to buying new imo. I’ve never owned new so I guess I don’t know but I believe used is the way to go. Thanks for the reply. I might make a video about this subject.
