Your channel is my new favorite channel. It’s all started with your craft space... I get to redo mine and I am starting from scratch pretty much. Way too many moves caused me to give most of my things away. I have never printed photos at home so when I saw you have this video, I smiled! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom.
I've been searching for a printer ALL DAY. Literally nonstop. Every review I read or watched was very basic and barely gave me anything to go on. I nearly gave up until I saw this! I'm going to look into this printer and once I'm done there, I'm coming right back to your channel to get everything else I may need. Thank you so much!
This video is everything I had hoped it would be. I don't feel as intimidated to print photos at home now. Listening to you is like talking to a friend! Thanks for sharing your valuable information and insights.
My dad printed photos for a living (pre-1970s and I grew up with the smell of developer and an enlarger sitting on the desk in my room) so I appreciate your Ritz comments. I am still just as fussy. I pitch so many because of one thing or another. Printing at home (although it's more expensive) is a lovely idea because I want more control too. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank You! This was a wealth of information. Your photos are beautiful and vibrant. Good to know I’m not the only one who is so picky about my photos. I have always been like that too. It just doesn’t feel right when I know the photo could be better it’s like my world is off balance lol.
👋🏻 Lauren! Love how you explain everything in this video so well. I had to purchase the Canon TS9521C & Red River papers. Still a little intimidated by this beauty of a printer. Would love to watch an editing video 🤗 Thanks so much
Hi Lauren. I was curious to know (now that it’s been a couple years), how your printer is holding up? Do you still love it? I’m strongly considering getting this printer. I just wish it could scan 12x12. I’m also a little concerned the ink will get expensive to replace. I know you said it would do a whole album worth of pictures. With all the printing of paper and pictures you do, how often would you guess you need to replace the ink? Thanks for your help! ❤
Your video is so timely for me. I've recently been thinking of printing my own pictures and you've help me decide to do it, so thank you for that. I hope you will continue to have a series of videos on this subject. You have a very good style of giving understandable info that's very easy to follow. Thanks again for your time.
Just got the Canon printer for Christmas! Can’t wait to print my own photos.I have already made the photo folders and got the CM photo storage boxes. I organized my photos according to the Library of Memories system. I also made the page templates and can’t wait to get started on a new scrapbook! I love your channel!
Oh my goodness, thank you for all the great information on printing photos. I am receiving this printer for Christmas, this video will certainly help me to not be too intimidated to unbox and start using it right away. What size does the printer scan? Thanks again!
Thank you so much for this video and all the info. I was ready to purchase a smaller Epson photo printer that prints 4x6 and 5x7 photos. It got excellent reviews too - but now I see THIS option! Less $ and more sizes! Decisions, decisions. 😆
Thank you for a in depth video relating to photo quality and the printer. Really well done👍 . It’s been four years since this was aired and wanted to know do you still use the Canon PIXMA TS9521C? If yes, any problems or issues since then? Thank you.
A few years ago I ran across your RU-vid “How to print Fantastic Photos at Home”. You made it so interesting that I did purchase the Canon ts9521c…which I loveeeeee. I was wondering if you have any FACEBOOK GROUPS that I could join and learn more about the printing of pictures and journals. (Yes, I have "searched" but can not seem to find one that has to do with the subject of printing journals, notebooks, etc.) Really hoping to hear from you.
Very informative video! Will you be doing one on using the printer for crafting? One thing I've learned about printers, it's all about the ink. Meaning, manufacturers sell printers cheaply but where the get you is selling you the ink which is VERY expensive. Canon's website has XXL printer cartridges now so that could be an option. I'm wanting to print online digital images for scrapbooking, would this printer work for that? If so, that could be another video to make ;) Thank you for sharing your expertise!
Hi Adrian, yes it is all about the ink! I am using the xxl cartridges and those do last longer. For me the main issue is quality of the photos, which I have been so pleased with. It would easily print online photos
I just got this printer absolutely excited to start using it. But it does not recognize any paper that I put into it 🤦🏽♀️. I put the 4x6 in the rear feed and it it continuously tells me there is no paper in it! What on earth? Any ideas of how to resolve this?
Very helpful video and information, I have all the old photos from my family. and need to scan and print many photos so I can scrapbook them for other family members. Giving myself a few months to make decisions on all the supplies I need. All of your videos are so helpful to me.
Thank you for this video! I've always wanted to try printing my own photos but have never had the courage (I overthink everything haha). I will certainly give this a try.
Hello. I've seen this printer on HSN during their crafting segment. By you describing it more thoroughly, I'm looking to purchase next time it comes in stock. I love how detail you describe your channel. Huge fan.
Thank you for this fantastically informative video! I am ready to bail on my HP office all in one printer in my craft room because it does not have a rear feed and can only handle lightweight cardstock and certain photo papers. I am a crafter also and I would like to get into scrapbooking because I have a ton of photos that really need to be in a presentable format. I also need a printer that can handle general office work because I do a lot of scanning and copying as I take care of our families financial needs. I have printed photos at home before but I have never done any serious editing because I don't have the software to handle the job, but I have done some minor editing with things that are available free on the internet. It really helps to see an in-depth review from someone who owns this printer and actually uses it. Thank you again and I think I am going to put this on my wish list for the very near future.
Awesome video!!! Thank you, so frustrating not getting exact size photos. Your info on this Canon was wonderful! I have the TS8320 and it's not as good as the one you're showing! I love the access to different sizes for photos! Trying to figure out how to print a 3x3 was impossible! Thank you again for your recommendation!!!!
I’m looking at this in 2021. This really does have a richness, the likes of which I haven’t seen in a home printer. Do u still have/use this one? If so, hat made u pick this particular one? If not, what do u have now & why did u pick it?
Wonderful video. Thank you for all of the great information. I do not usually make it to the end or end up fast forwarding but in you case, you kept me thru the entire time.
I’m sure you could create a custom size! I haven’t tried, but this has a lot of flexibility.. and it does do 8x8 borderless, so you could also do a 2-up and print then cut it apart!
That’s a very good idea! I’m on the fence about a new printer, but, your pictures are certainly great ads for the printer. I will definitely keep this one in mind.
Hi! The photo is dry to the touch, no smearing. I do like to let them sit for a bit before I handle them too much and wait until the next day for page protectors or peek a boo pockets (but that is just me)☺️
Just found your channel by watching your craftroom tour, the whole hour! This is great info, my goal is to get back to printing my pictures this year...thank you. New subscriber. ~ Mary
Update: With your help I found it was looking in wrong spot thank you. Was so sad cant find the photo folder template. The link didnt work and couldnt locate it on your site. Awesome video, so informative.
Hello! Thank you for this video . I just purchased this printer in hopes to start printing my illustrations as postcards (also trying out red river sample packs!) Do you have any videos on printing double sided??
Hi...my old Canon inkjet just broke and I am looking to replace it with this crafting printer...here in the UK there are some comments about it being slow and prone to paper jams as well as ink being expensive. How do you find it? Love your content .Thanks for sharing.Tricia in the UK
Hi Thanks for the information, I'm looking into buying this printer but I was concerned on the ink usage, I don't want to spend too much to often on ink.
Thank you for this video! How is printing to the Canon working for you when using your Mac? I sent my Canon Pixma back and got an Epson because I had limited printing functionality with the Canon. That was 4 years ago and now I’m really interested in this printer and wonder if I can only use the AirPrint function to print and how is that working for you? Love your YT content!
I forgot to ask. You mentioned digital printing for 12x12 boarderless. The creation called "party boy." Can you elaborate how it works? I see it on your site.
Hi! Yes that is what we call a digital scrapbook kit. You can use the designs to make pages for digital albums or you can print them out, which is what I was showing👍🏻
I just found you today - I am so glad - your organization is wonderful and you are wonderful to listen to - thank you - Can you tell me please what program you use to print the photos - PSE?
Hi Lauren, I have been following your video series and never fail to learn something new. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Have you ever scanned a 12x12 document on the TS9521C with a satisfactory result? I'm seriously thinking of scanning all my album pages and was wondering if this printer would work for that.
Will the red river paper you recommend work on my hp photo printer? I am probably going to order the Canon. I have been printing my own photos for years. I like the convenience of printing off a picture for my scrapbook pages in whatever size I want.
Love all your videos! This video caught my attention because I have been trying to find information on how to print different size photos and more than one print to a page. Do you use a photo editing software? Can you have a demonstration?
I was, and do love canon printers. They are exceptional in my opinion. Ink was a bit more for the pro, and the printer is very large, so you need some rooooom😉
I just got this printer and photo paper because of your video! I love all your videos. I am just. getting started scrapbooking and I am so excited. Please do a video on editing photos. I would be so interested in that! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! You and I are “cut from the same cloth.” I am picky like you and have struggled with various photo printing services. I, too, was using mostly Mpix. They do an excellent job, but I am going to begin printing more at home. I am an avid user and fan of Apple and Canon, so your process is a great fit for me. What do you think of CM’s new 4x6 photo printing? I find it a little dark. For example, I lose detail in facial expressions in group photos. I have been working with CM to help fine-tune their process. I LOVE CM and this is not a bad review of their photo printing. I’m just so picky. This is June 2020-do you still recommend this printer? I use a Canon MX922, but it only prints up to 5x7. THANKS AGAIN!
hi, quick question !! i make photo canvases & go to walgreens to get my pictures done, my canvases are 16x20in photos, would this printer be good to use for that size ?
I'm thinking about printing at home but am wondering about wiping fingerprints off of the photos. When scrapbooking I get fingerprints on the photos and like to wipe them off. Is this possible with print at home photo papers?
Hi, are you able to print in A3 straight from word document ? If so how do you do it ? Ive recently purchased the CanonTS9565 but i couldnt find the option to print A3 from my phone or laptop 😥 the tray at the front also is limited to A4.
Cecelia, it would be dreamy if it could! Thinking the same... maybe canon will listen again to our crafting needs. Largest scan is A4 ( little longer than letter)
Lauren I love watching your videos! Thanks for posting. I was wondering where you get your Apple Watch bands? They are really neat and I would love to get some :)
@@CraftSomeJoy Hi Lauren, I bought this printer, but I'm not really happy with the results so far. The pictures look grainy with Canon glossy paper. I'm in Europe so the photo paper you're recommending isn't available to me right now. Could you give me a few tips on how to set the printer and use it with Photoshop please?
Thanks for the great information. I will subscribe but I wish you were more succinct in your presentation. You tend to repeat many times making the videos linger Yam necessary. I find myself fast forwarding through the video.
