Hello Hive! 🐝Let me know if the methods I shared above worked for you with your budgeting papers! Don't forget you can jump around using the time stamps in the description box to find what you need quicker. Thanks so much for spending time with me! 🐝
@Ranii1000 Follow this video. It's a complete walk through. Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat installed and are using the multiple option. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SxiLX7pGFEA.htmlsi=ZbQ4Km_H2JeY4T4z
OMG April. This was so helpful. I have been pring the prop money 1 single bill at a time and using up all my card stock papers. I'm saving this video in a file so i can refer back to it again and again. Thank you for sharing
Ohh nooo! I am so glad this helped so you can stop wasting paper. I am filming a specific prop money video. I'll hopefully have that up shortly with more tips ! 🐝
Hi Ms April..here is the old lady again..the info was very interesting…I think my stuff is too old to do what you are doing…so I will just do the best I can with what I have…I will continue to watch the videos though…🙏🏾❣️👍🏾👋🏾👋🏾
Hello there lovely lady! 💛 If you run into any issues printing our things, do let me know. I'm happy to help figure it out. I appreciate you being here!
I am just getting into cash stuffing budgeting and love your channel! Thank you so much for your knowledge, humor, and quality products! I always look forward to your videos. This video is a game changer for me since I buy lots of savings challenges and other budgeting forms from Etsy.
I appreciate this video. Just what I needed. I’ve been trying to print in A5 size since I’m in the process of converting to A5 binders. Thanksssss soooo much for making this video
Great video, taught me some other ways to print. I like using a 28 lb printing paper, it has quite a bit of strength and makes my challenges hold up longer. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I tried Canva for the monthly and weekly calendar which didn't turn out correctly. I will definitely put my new knowledge to use especially when i buy my dashboards!
I learned so much from you in this video! I been using copy paper for everything as it comes in such a large pack, but I did not know about how to fit sizes correctly. Thank you!
I really learned a lot from this video. Thank you. I'm just getting into printing my tracker sheets but don't know what kind of paper to use. What paper allows you to mark it but then wipe with alcohol and reuse?
I am so glad it helped you! That would be laminating sheets that allow you to reuse. You can also use wet/dry markers instead of permanent and use just water to get those off. :)
Lol can i just say that i dont print or have a printer or need this tutorial but just watched it because i love step by steps with on screen recorded examples.😂 this was everything an idiots guide to would be. Any questions i may have thought of you touched on. Love this well made and edited video and subscribed just for that. Not even a cash stuffer 😅. Wanna get into it tho. These kinds of video make me less scared of starting up
This is my favorite comment of the year 😆 I'm so glad you found it entertaining. I do hope that you give stuffing a try! Start small and it'll get addicting 😁
This video is so helpful. I can't wait to print some savings challenges to fit my A5 envelopes. Your channel is off to a great start. Thank you April! 🤗🤗
Aww, thank you so much! You really don't need an expensive printer. The real issue with the lower priced printers are the cartridges can get expensive if you print a lot. But I honestly don't think the quality is much different for personal use. I hope you find one that works for you! Thank you for watching 🐝
Hi April 👋 Awesome video, thank you! Can I ask, is paper quality still important if I'm printing something out to laminate it? And if so, should I go for the paper you have recommended? Thanks so much, Lynne x
Hi Lynne! I do believe if it's something you plan to use a lot, I'd at least get a thicker paper than copy paper. Some kind of cardstock to keep it from being floppy. The nicer the paper, the less the bleeding in ink and longer lasting. But any card stock thicker than regular paper should work fine for personal use ❤️
❤ Awwwwwesome!!! The way I’m smiling is priceless! Exactly what I needed!!! I just asked Jenn about her challenge card size the other day lol Thank you Queen Bee April! 🐝
I just purchased a moterm luxe ring planner. Do you know, are these planners the A6 size? It didn't come with envelopes, and I want to make my own and print the cards for them. Love your video. This is my first time watching.
Hey Angela! 👋 I am not familiar with most planner sizing. But if I were trying to figure that out, I'd cut a sheet of paper in the A6 and A5 sizing I gave in the video and see if those would fit inside the planner. Then you'll know which envelopes will work for you. Thanks so much for watching and welcome to the hive! 🐝
This really helped me cuz I wasted so much paper when I printed things out. What if we wanted to use like daisy’s or a different picture how would I do that thanks for the videos I love watching all of them🎉❤🎉❤
Hi there 👋 I believe this method should work for any files that are specifically designed. So if you have a file designed for A5, that method will work. The files need to be designed in the proper sizes. Hope that helps 😊
Let me also add - Try printing the images in 5x7 using the method I explained for sizing down. It's really hard to get the A6 size if the file isn't designed specifically. But I bet you could trick some images to 5x7 and get them sized to fit into your A5 envelope.
Aww, that's so sweet! I love that! I do plan on showing how to make your own dashboards in Canva. But I admit, it won't be immediately. In the meantime, you could absolutely try to print in 5x7 for A5. I'd love to see what you end up doing!
I did make some as a request for someone else. I haven't uploaded them to the listing yet. But if you purchase the set and want the variation, send me a message on Etsy and I'll send it to you. 🐝
Your tips are amazing. Can I ask what printer you use? Mine gives me trouble feeding the 80lb and 110lb cardstock. I have a Cannon Inkjet MX700 and maybe it's just me, the user LOL. Any tips you can provide would be appreciated. I love printing your challenges and prefer the heavier cardstock.
Hey Penny! I have a Canon as well. The main thing with thicker paper is that you need it to load from a back paper tray. Thicker paper can't roll through those printers that pull it in a U shape if that makes sense. 😁
My adobe print doesn't look like yours and I am confused, do you think you could update this video with the updated version of Adobe. It would help me out a lot.
I have the latest version installed. It may be slightly different depending on your OS, but it should still be similar. Could you explain what exactly you cannot print properly and what is happening?
Hi Kala! It actually comes in A5 and large in the shop. I have a few challenges in both sizes. I've never tried sizing an A5 to full before to be honest. It might work, but I suspect it would be too long and not wide enough.
Hi April, Thank you for this information; unfortunately I don't have a printer at this time but love all you do for us too. As a suggestion, another youtuber I watch suggested 110 lb card stock paper by Pen & Gear which can be found at Walmart. Also, I feel I will want to laminate my cards and just pick up the Expo pens to write on them. Thoughts on what kind of laminate sheets to look for? Luv, Cynthia
Hey Cynthia! Yes, any 80+ lb card stock is fantastic. Pen & Gear in Walmart has a lot of options. I plan on doing a full laminating video. But in the meantime, when you purchase your laminator, it will usually have both 3mil and 5mil sheets with it so you can test which you like. I don't think it really matters 100% which one you use. It really ends up being preference. I use both for various products, it depends on what you're doing. But I will say the paper you use to laminate matters a LOT. I saw some Expo pens at Dollar Tree recently! Not sure if that's cheaper than Walmart - sometimes that is hit or miss. I hope you are having a great day! 🐝
@@neighbeehood Thank you for the response. I will have to check Dollar Tree for sure and soon as I want to get started on my budget. I am in between housing so will not be looking into a laminator anytime soon but I would appreciate information on it all including machines? Thank you & nice day wishes in return. Luv, Cynthia
I miss Adobe Acrobat Reader : ( I bought a new computer and it isn't compatible with Microsoft Edge ughhhhh do you happen to know which adobe works with it??? I am struggling as there isn't much info to be found on Microsoft Edge and I hate it!!! Any suggestions or knowledge you have would be greatly appreciated April, I have wasted 100s of sheets of paper trying to figure this craziness out. Thank you April.
Hey Brenda! A super easy solution is to not use Microsoft Edge. You can download Chrome or Firefox for free! Google whichever browser you want and install - then it'll ask if you want it to be your default browser and say "yes please save me from Microsoft Edge!" 😁I hope you can get a new browser in there. I can totally feel your pain!
@@neighbeehood I like chrome, I'll have to look into that. Because that is the other issue I am having with this insane system is you can't download things unless you go through the Microsoft Store. Yes please save me from Microsoft Edge, lol. Oh my gosh if I only knew before I bought this thing about dear old Microsoft Edge it would have been a big fat no along with their great new Security garbage "S mode". I'm not very techi but boy I have gotten a real crash course since I bought this piece of junk. Thank you April, I am so going to try and download chrome and see if I can get around this crazy.
Oh boy, I can only imagine how much you've had to learn! Let us know how it goes! You should be able to turn that stuff off - RU-vid is a great library for that kind of thing! Try searching here how to turn all of that off. Keep us posted! Good luck! 💛
Hey April! Ive racked my brain && Google trying to figure this out, i have an Acer Chromebook, i have downloaded the Adobe Reader & for the life of me i cannot get the properties window to appear like the video. It keeps opening my standard printer setting & im in adobe. If you have any ideas or suggestions id greatly appreciate it. Im ready to rip my hair out.
Hey Victoria! Message me on Etsy or Ko-Fi a screenshot of how your screen looks when you print. I am thinking it has something to do with you having a chromebook. Those do not have a hard-drive or any way to save data to disk if I remember correctly. But there has to be a work around of some kind. Send me that pic and we will figure something out 😁
Trust me, I hear you. I had to get some scrap paper and learn it. Keeping the paper against the top helps a ton. Being a lefty means I mess a lot of stuff up 😅
***HELP*** April, i uae my Galaxy S8 tablet, and it came with Samsung notes instead of Adobe Acobat, and does not look like you show it. I believe you said you use the S7, do you have any tips for me?
I do say in the video which types of paper to use for different things. If you're asking about regular paper you want 24lb+. If you're asking about trackers or things that use thicker paper you want 80lb+. 😊
