Awesome video. Looking to improve my TPU prints so I will try some of these settings. Just wondering, what do you do for cooling? Especially for for small parts that have short layer times or parts that have overhangs.
@JATdesign
@JATdesign 3 дня назад
TPU Generally is slow enough you don't need to worry about layer time that much. I set it around 5s min layer time. Fan speed i leave on default and turn off aux fan

Do you disable retraction?
@JATdesign
@JATdesign 13 дней назад
@@zee7056 reduced dramatically and slowed the retraction down allot also. I have found this to be slightly different on different tpus. So do recommend a retraction tower with each type of TPU you print with.

I have a question regarding using TPU/Flex PLA mixed with PETG as support because you can't feed TPU or any flex filament in the AMS and I need to feed it manually but I don't know how to do it through Bambu Studio. I had the same issue with TPU in my K1 so, I desgined an external spool wall support and I had zero issues with FLEX Pla to print the airless basketball ball but I couldn't remove easilly the support. How to do it in a Bambulab and how z height is the best to remove those supports if It needs it??

Flex pla was designed a bit more rigid than tpu, I have not personally printed with it. But my understanding is it has been blended with tpu. Which in turn increase its layer bonding by a bit. TPU with a PETG interface is harder then PETG to PLA but should still work for your intention. After slicing, you adjust the layer slider (+) button on the right to the layer where you want the change. Right click on the (+) and select Add Pause. Repeat as needed, then click Slice again. When the pause is reached, the toolhead will go back to the poop chute and wait for you to unload and reload the filament (see my earlier reply.) Then you hit Resume and it will pick up. As for your Z height when im doing pla to to petg interface layers I change it to 0 Z height and the parts pull apart perfectly with 0 signs of an overhang. But on your curved piece that would be much more difficult also specific i don't think you can pause it only for supports.

Very helpful, do you have a link to the nozel you were talking about.

I do have another video up about the diamond back nozzle. It runs around 90$. I'll add a link to this video too.

It has been incredibly nice to only have one nozzle and not have to swap for different materials. Petg doesn't ball up on it like it does on hardened nozzles etc.

I have a normal K1 and it seems like my printer has a hard time gripping the filament. When I just tell it to extrude it seems to not be able to have it flow smoothly.

I tried to print tpu on my k1 max and it seemed to start ok but then gets jammed up. I could potentially see the reason why he feeds directly from above avoiding any friction

correct if you run through a ptfe tube It will not print

Is that the regular interface on the screen of the K1 max or did you modded it? It doesn’t look at all like my K1.
@JATdesign

It's a version of Klipper screen called guppy screen. Something you can do when you root the machine.
