In this video, I go over how to process a refund in WooCommerce. If you have been banging your head trying to figure it out, here is how it's done.
The key is to make sure you select the amount of the product you are refunding in the "Qty" box. If you don't do this, you will not be given the option to manually enter the partial refund amount. Once you enter the quantity or number of products that you are refunding you can then edit by typing over the full refund amount that is in the box that is just to the lower right of the Qty box. In the video, the full amount would be $29. If I want to do a $20 refund I'd type over the $29 that populates the box automatically and I'd enter 20. When I tab out of the box, it will change the amount in the "Refund amount:" box to $20.
