This is so helpful. Very nice to see you work in Logic. It really helps with understanding the basic concepts of Logics plug ins. When you only work in Ableton it can be challenging to translate the information to another DAW if you're a beginner. So please keep on doing Logic sessions as well, at least until we beginners have a little bank of producing within Logic.
Mr. Factor, in my opinion you're the most frank narrator about the music production in every way. When I'm trying to understand about the mixing from the RU-vid based arrangers, you're the really one with comprehensible phraseology. I'm from Mediterranean part of Turkey by the way. Salute!
This is a brilliant tutorial. There are, however, more sounds on the original track (in fact there’s Weeknd’s voice all over the place: on top of the pads and chords there is a vocal choir and a bit of arpeggio somewhere along the first verse. One thing I found it very clever and effective: the chord progression repeats itself all over the place as a loop but it doesn’ t sound boring at all. Your content is gold :) Just love your channel
Yess!! Thanks for helping me identify other sounds. There is another synth (feels like a sawtooth) during the second verse too. Sometimes I feel lost because of the amount of sounds I'm hearing at the same time and can't make out many of them. So I come here to clarify and to learn how is it made, this channel is amazing
Great Video! Can you make a "how to produce video" of Imagine Dragons' radio active? Especially, I want to make the bass synth sound in the first verse.
Can you produce here we go again or repeat after me by The Weeknd? There is really interesting bass and idk how to do this kind of sound. Please. Thank you!
might be a little late, but my man could you do one for save your tears? i’ve been trying to recreate the bass at the beginning using a synth bass and bass guitar for a new song idea that i have but it’s just not working out.
I left Pro Tools behind right at version 10 I was only using it at the time too just to open some sessions from record labels and import stems into Ableton anyways to work.
