I've been learning a lot from your videos. Thanks for putting it out there. Man, you make it simple and at the same time explain things on a deeper level. We feel we understand the concept and that makes it easier not just to apply it but to combine them in unusual ways. Thanks a lot.
This is incredible. The fact that you got it so accurate to begin with is great, but the layers that you revealed are in the guitar riff really stuck with me. It’s honestly completely changed the way I produce music now.
always solid -thorough,, - & mega helpful- thanks again sir- _quick side note * those piano/synth chords are actually interpolated from Alicia Myers "I Want To Thank YOu" big underground club joint back in like 86' or so-, - props to MakePopMusic also,, Beat Academy & MPM made this a must watch for me,, thanks again,,
Everything is perfect, im amaze by the attention on the details, I really enjoy watching this remake, would you cover vocals and vocal harmonies in one tutorial? that will be the cherry on the cake for this channel. I have my vocal chain but I am very sure that you will come up with a monster set up. Thank you!
Fantastic stuff as usual Ivan. Not only do you remake the beat but you also improve it. Yours sounds better than the original! Thank you very much. I'll keep learning from you both here and in your Beat Academy!
another great tutorial!!!as always my go to you tube channel, because you mostly use ableton stock to get results!!!shows you that you do not always need fancy plugins, I used the ableton amp to beef up my main riff.kepp em coming man, any chance of a faster drum n bass tutorial?
This is great dude. How do you have your drum racks set up? It looks like each element has its own midi track. Are you just sending the midi output from each channel to the drum rack?
Hey, I really love all of your videos! I am trying to copy some of your techniques in Logic but I don’t know how to side chain or do busses. Do you think you could ever do a video using Logic or GB? That would be sick for beginners/ intermediate producers like me. :)
I'm considering joining Beat Academy; however, I only have FL and I don't want to buy and learn another DAW. What does Beat Acadamy offer for its FL users?
Thanks for all the great tutorials mate. You’re an idol for beginners like me. Small request, could you do a tutorial on Dhruv - Airplane thoughts please? He’s going to blow up anytime now.
It would be a real game-changer if you could partner with someone or another channel to the mix the track after you've reconstructed them. While this is a great reconstruction, it sounds very flat, but that's to be expected as it's not a mixing tutorial but a production one. Just a thought.
21:37 Could never understand how even a bas sawtooth makes my ears bleed with those extra transients stabbing above a cut-off. I guess its job security for the saw tooth that it will always be able to cut through a replete mix. This video is an opus by illFactor though. Well done.
