I've no idea how I didn't find your channel sooner but you are without doubt one of the best here on RU-vid teaching production. All the Whys, How's and When's behind every decision yet the videos still have an amazing pace! I'm happy to be learning from you :)
its 80 synths lolll its super simple synths :P but ye. As an edm producer i think it's cute how hip hop producers are amazed at not using omnisphere or nexus xd. You should try it! I love using serum. Just watch a few tutorials on how to make certain sounds and copy what they do to learn
@@BeatAcademy please dont stop creating with stock plugins we beginners love that as we cant afford those and also it makes the software very lightweight.
You know when you're messing around with synthesizer presets and you're like " That's a good sound but i hate how it has that minor issue ", this video thought me everything I needed to know to fix that. Thank you.
Thanks ill factor for doing this recreation sound exactly like it in my ears. To every one watching this, recreation is the key to get good at production(in a short time) and not only watching this helps but recreating it yourself and getting stuck and figuring limitations and problems
I just opened a DAW (ableton 10 live) for the first time 2 days ago and had no idea where to start. I watched your basics video and am now following along on all of these how to sound like X, and I'm learning SO MUCH! Thank you, Beat Academy for the content you've put out. Maybe one day I'll go from "aspiring music producer" to just "music producer." Cheers!
God bless you for all this free knowledge and at the same time also using all stock plugins, your content is literally a blessing to the community, and I'm sure everyone watching this can agree with that.
I love two things about your tutorials. 1 that you only use ableton vsts and 2 how straight foward and simple you make them so they are so easy to watch and understand.
The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” rose to number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on March 30. It’s the fifth chart-topper in the R&B singer’s career, but it’s the 23rd chart-topper for one of the men behind the song: co-writer and producer Max Martin, who has helped shape pop music for more than two decades.
Man I have so much to say about these videos! I love them! Watching this specific one (because the song has that retro vibe) makes me think that you should do a series where you recreate/produce classics. Lets say music from the 80s-00s.
Amazing all this with stock plugins ! And we all think that a new vst makes us a better producer... incredible! Also very nice song selection on your Tutorials...
Can't help to notice the Assassin's creed logo on the wall. Then I recalled this sick piece of music for AC Syndicate, "Champion sound" I believe. So the producer is now sharing knowledge! Love what you're doing now and plz keep up the beautiful work.
i know nothing about producing music but watching how much detail and production time is put into making like 12 seconds of a song is so interesting to me
I finally managed to finish this one. Its the first one of the series that I do and Im gonna go through each one and recreate them because theres so much to learn. Why did you add another delay as a send for the bell sound?
This was really great! One of my favorite songs and you got so close to the original I can't believe it. Step by step, I could follow along ang grasp what you did and what effect your changes made. Thanks!
thanks so much for the bits and pieces... I have a few ideas for mashing up this song that I absolutely love, and you've just made the whole process a lot easier,
How come I've not come across you?? That may be among a very few music production tutorials and totally with built-in plugins... I think I'm gonna subscribe. 😎😎💯💯💯Add some chord proggression and a little 80's vibe, lay back and watch the entire world go crazy. How cool is that?? What's the secret about the 80's music??
dude thank you so much for this video. getting that bass tone was driving me absolutely mad and I have something similar now, working with synths is really difficult when you are a beginner. I know the sound I want but dont know what to change to get it!
You're incredible, man! I watched every single tutorial you have made and what you do with stock plugins starting from zero is unbeliveble. I'm learning so much from you every single day! Thanks! Ps: what about recreate some future bass drops of artists such as Illenium or Gryffin?
Can you do How to Produce : Used to This by Camila Cabello? Or actually any song from her new album ? A lot of interesting sounds on there, would be cool to demostate.
Can’t believe I just discovered your channel, and you’re using Ableton Live. Wow better late than never, can’t wait to start trying to learn from your videos ! )
I love this video series. The way you explain things is just brilliant! Really helps a newcomer like me understand all the different aspects and elements of sound engineering! Awesome! Keep it up!
Hey! I was wondering if you’d ever make a video explaining how to use the software that you are using? I watch your videos because they’re super interesting and cool, but I personally wish I knew what you were doing hahah. Would it be possible for you to maybe make a series of videos explaining what the different terms you use mean, and how to do all of this completely from scratch to people who’ve had no experience whatsoever. I think that would be very useful to a LOT of people:) thank you🙏🏼
Love all your vids Bro I love playing the piano when I make my tracks strait through and this my friend is on my List next .Thanks so much for making this a lot of my inspiration is from the 80’s I’m doing a knight Ridder synth wave track I’ll be a Arpeggiating my own fingers for the Bassline but any insight you have I’d be sincerely Grateful Good Sir ! 👍🏻 have a great Rest of The Week
Great video. I like the way that you say what change and why before you make it. I like to pause, make the change myself and then see if we agree. Best tip, go extreme first and dial it back.
