Great series Sando. Brilliant and humbling as usual. Do you have a series of detailing, prepping and coating all aspects of a brand new car by any chance? I think your take on the work would be beneficial to all. I’d offer my soon to be delivered baby, but being in Sydney would see it accumulate too much ‘road grime’ to warrant the term new. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next series.

Hi Sandro, nice work. I loved the 3 videos. Wrt windows, have you tried Stoner Invisible Glass in aerosol format? I always used Meguiar's, but fell in love with this aerosols the moment I used them. No streaks and they can really clean even the dirtiest windows. I find them impressive and a must for the interior side of the windows. Thanks

Very nice series but considering the effort you put on exterior detailing I would expect you to remove the seats. Only by removing the seats (front and back) you can call this somehow near perfection as you say.

Really nice vid Sandro, I liked it, thanks. I hope your partner loved the effort you put into it for her and during shooting the vid her photography skills were put to the test, lol. Only difference I would have done was with the air con bomb, I have used many of these and I have found the best way is to place it on the floor behind the passenger seat with the seat pulled all the way forward and tilted past 90 degrees towards the dashboard. But I assume you positioned yours like that to get into the cabin filter better... anyway, really enjoyed it mate, keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next vid :-) thanks.

Just finished watching the series on interiors and I'm very impressed. I've decided to take up auto detailing myself and am looking for all the help I can get in improving my technique. Quick question though: Do you use any type of conditioner for leather seats? I know pretty much how to clean leather and how it's supposed to feel afterwards, but since you didn't mention anything, I had to ask. Thank you for the great videos, consider me a subscriber, cheers from Puerto Rico!

Either way, your videos reminded me of why my technique is on the right track and what I need to improve on. Thank you!

Cheers from Canada and thank you for the series - subscribed, of course. Im wondering if you could include links to N American-available products at times, and show a classic car detail at some point. I know not everyone deals with older surfaces single stage paints or techniques, I just don’t know what to do next on my 1989 Porsche 944, and would be interested to see you do true classics eg something from say, the 1950s.

Enjoyed the video very much! I really liked the bit about being imperfect and there will always be a little something that is missed. It’s just reality...and also it’s just a car, we love them but it’s not heart surgery right?! No ones going to die if a particle is left or minor stain can’t be removed. 😬 Keep on crackin!

After you use the microfiber towel to buff the coating. Do you throw the towel away too? Cause it might be difficult to throw those towels away, especially when they still used new

what is the capacity of your air compressor used for the tornador? The web site says you need a constant 5.5 to 6.3 CFM. I used an older model tornador some years ago and I can attest that without adequate air flow the twirling wand inside stops spinning and the tornado effect stops. Has anybody had this problem...
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 4 года назад
I believe the air compressor I was running back then had 190LPM or 6.7CFM and it was fine to run it, but if I went non stop for longer periods it would eventually slow down, but with normal start and stop use it was actually okay, but if you do want to use it for extended periods at a time I would look into a larger compressor. At the moment my current compressor runs about 15 CFM and that’s more than enough to run it as long as you like.

My interior has some ABS plastic yellowing/ discolouring, I was thinking maybe a heat gun to “bring the oils to the top” or using retrobright (hydrogen peroxide creme + UV from the sun). What do you suggest?

Hey Sandro! Another great detailing video. I do like they way you explain why you use the products you do and you give honest reviews! I have a question for you about polishing door jams. Before you got the hybrid nano, did you use a 5 or 6 inch pad on a DA or did you polish those small areas by hand? I'm finding that door jams here in Canada have a very rough finish almost as if they have no clear coat on them. How would you tackle that?
