Darren, a programmer is like a crescent wrench, they presume that if you buy one then you know how to use it, but in order to use it you need at least three courses in computer programming and to say the least about the electronics in DC and AC and discrete components in solid state form. Programming is not like playing a vedio game that you get better as your eye-hand coordination gets more experience. Programming is abstract thinking put into binary bits through hexadecimal code and translated again into English. But the best way to learn programming is to buy a programmer along with programming books. Your on the right path because you can't be a sharpshooter if you don't have a gun.

I would say it is a very helpful video on programming the Red Wolf HP or whichever other model applicable. I did not catch or hear what caliber is the RW from which the data was recorded from. From the video, I already made my own control sheet in Excel.
I would guess the pulse is measured in micro seconds. 3000 microseconds is 3 milli seconds. Which sounds about right. So the valve opens for 3 ms to fire. I would guess the high and low pressures are just alarm levels for the liquid Cristal display and don’t actually change the firing power at all.
So Daystate just split the fill into 3 bands and use different hammer setting for each region to try to mask the Bellcurve, shame it is not a full regulation. Show us some chrony strings, are they any FPS steps visible? ....half of the numbers on the spreadsheet are irrelevant as you don’t touch them.

Hi great video and thanks, but when i connect the programmer to my redwolf and go to mk5 read/save data and press it it shows ..reading..then it says error. Ive tried the cable colors in both side but still shows error and cant read my factory settings so i can proceed. What do ?

Great demonstration, but this interface is pathetic for a 3000.00 airgun. This is straight out of the 90's. Couldn't they download to a Windows or Mac spreadsheet, make changes, and then upload. Instead, you have to write down your settings. I was seriously considering a Red Wolf. I just crossed it off my list.
