@@legacylocksmith7874great video. What case so you need pin to finish adding key and access the computer via using bypass cable? Little confused. Thanks for your time answering my question
@kidusyafet9972 if you read the IMMO data, you will not need a pin to finish the job. However, if you cannot read the IMMO data, then you will need. There is no bypass cable required. Just follow what I do in the video.
Good man .. I didn't think we could do these unless we had the 12 digit code from Toyota which is unavailable in our market, excellent content, thank you
My pleasure. I am not sure but definitely give it a try. Some of the new Lexus and Toyota’s. I was not able to read the immo data so it’s probably very by model.
Does this work when adding a non-virgin oem Toyota smartkey to a different Toyota? I bought a used Tundra smartkey off eBay to use as a third smartkey for my 23 Tacoma will both these tools get it added to be recognized with my vehicle?
I wish you were in my town. I have a 2021 Lexus LC500 with only one key and the nearest dealer is a couple hours away. The Toyota dealer in town claims they can't do Lexus, and every locksmith it town says 2020 is the newest they can do.
Hey bro, do you know if it's much different for the blade key (non-smart key)? I mean do I need to wire the Autel to the ignition cylinder and fuse box as seen done by others or it can be all done through the Autel OBDII software as shown here...thanks for the reply.
@@legacylocksmith7874 I've seen some people use Autel 508 with GBOX 2 to make the blade key, not sure if it'll work with 2020 models, have you tried that before?
Thanks for video. . I have a "IM508S". Today, I couldn't made 2020 Toyota Tacoma all keys lost smart key. Do you think if I have the "IM508" Can I make it?
@legacylocksmith7874 I have apb112 tool. I made many Lexus, Toyota smart keys. But, my IM508S said my version can't use lately version. Do you think do I have to upgrade?
do this work on the Venza 2021? I've tried it but Iwas not able to back up the eeprom - any tips or any other video that shows this? - ps I do have the autek 508 up to date
Nice video very helpful on bypassing pin code. Do you have to use brand new OEM key only or refurbished Oem key is ok too? Do you have a link for the emulator? It’s a nice tool to have.
My pleasure. i recommend using brand new OEM for these models also verified the exact part number they have a couple of them they look the same. Just Google APB112 You will get results right away.
It’s not working for the keyed ignition models. However, if it’s add to key, you should just clone the chip and the remote you can easily program. Xhorse universal flip work perfect
@@legacylocksmith7874 thanks for your help I got xhorse key tool max pro and Autel im608 pro and this 2020 Corolla akl blade key, but I guess both scanners incapable so it seems no way around it but buying code
I’m sure that problem will be solved with future update. But if you have the Xhorse, maybe you wanna try using this “Xhorse - Toyota 8A Non-Smart Key - All Keys Lost Adapter Via OBD”. I know it doesn’t work all the time but you can give it a try.
Hi, I have a 2019 Toyota Rav4 with a VIN code begins with J. I borrowed a Autel Maxi to register a code, couldn't get it done, it asked for ECU registration or something and won't let me register any key. Is there any advice you can give me on this?
Just for my understanding you have no communication with the car? Can you read number of keys? If the car has no keys maybe put the hazard lights on and turn the door lock to unlock position and step a break with your feet and try to see if there is any communication
So this car came with a key fob. I used a general Autel Maxi - i forget the model number and it is not the same one as yours - computer that a mechanic friend of mine uses for his repair business. He doesn’t know much about keys but i had a couple of successes with his Autel. I can get to a part where it says “smart key” and i have programmed two keys for 2016 model cars previously. Once i tap on “smart key”, a message pops up and says “This function registers the key code to the certification ECU. This function carries out online certification. Please carry out after checking an operating procedure.” Then it asks for 12 digit PIN code. I hope i made some sense..
You need to read immo data then right before it’s getting to the password it’s going to ask you if you have a saved file then choose the file you saved and you’re good
Just checked again for you. Go manual selection in the immo of Toyota. Then go RAV4 and you will have 19 to 2022. (I did 2022 already more than one time)
@@legacylocksmith7874 Hi. I went to Toyota/Manual Selection/Japan/RAV4. I don't have 2019/2022. The newest date is 2010/08-2019/03. My Toyota update version is 4.20. I don't know which one you have. I believe yours is the same v4.20???
Hi brooo Im from México City I tried with a 2023 Toyota Rav 4 with an Autel Im 508 but I couldn't. I got the following message "The current version number of the intelligent main ECU software is not compatible" Why did that message appear :(? Do you know any other way to achieve this? Thank you for your comments good night
Maybe it’s a new version. Your Internet was good? Autel probably working on updates for those but you probably gonna need to use the in code out code to do this.
bro i tried this method on 2022 corolla smart key and it wouldnt read anything....the ignition wouldnt turn on since all keys were lost so i could not read the immo data....is there another way?
Did you turn a key to unlock position in driver door before you try to read immo data? If alarm is activated you need to do that before reading immo data
@@legacylocksmith7874 thanks for your response brother. I didn’t turn the key in the door lock but the alarm was not activated. I have a friend that has the same car and I tried doing it on his vehicle and I still couldn’t back up the IMMO data even while he had a working key. Not sure why this is happening though…
In this case the door was open. The car was involved in a crash. You can just open it in the old fashion way and then the worst case you cut a key and turn it to unlock in the door.
hello, I want to add a second smart key to toyota rav 4 2020, there is an autel maxiim608pro, when programming does not require a pin code? thank you in advance
have you tried used OEM toyota smart keys that have been 'unlocked'? I've read even though you unlock them using km100 or 508 they don't pair. They would say 'blank' or 'new' after unlocking but they will not program. Here's a video...but this is a couple years old. I wonder if it is still the case: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i0FknPyT0JY.htmlsi=a65tI6rlSClOh93P
@@legacylocksmith7874 thanks for the reply. Have you encountered/experienced it yourself? No wonder they are selling for cheaper on ebay and there's a lot of them.
@@legacylocksmith7874 I’ve tried it with IM 608 a newer tool and fully updated it did everything mentioned in the video but emulator wouldn’t turn ignition on so I had to use my Nastif account
@@legacylocksmith7874 yes I read immo and generated emulator successfully but wouldn’t turn ignition on with emulator. It probably won’t do certain versions of these vehicles, But even in a add key situation it stills asks for Nastif pin on newer Toyota’s
When I do it, when it gets to the code it asks if you have immo data instead of a code. This was my experience I wander way it gives you so much problems.
