This method only works if the key was already program with the car, but lost signal over the years, sometime you need to replace the battery inside the key fob. The battery is a CR1620. This method doesn't work with a New Blank Key.
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have changed the battery and followed your steps. The light on the fob blinks just like yours after you've completed all of the steps, but it doesn't lock/unlock my car. The key won't start the car either. It looks like I'm following the steps correctly, so I'm thinking something else may be wrong. This key was previously connect to my car and lost connection over time. Before trying your method, I tried another one that said to hold Unlock for 8, hold both Unlock and Lock for 8, release, hold Unlock for 4, turn switch on and off, hold both for 4, release, hold Unlock for 2, switch on and off. This method didn't work either and the fob didn't blink after the method was complete. Could this have messed up my fob?
I just bought two replacement keys off Amazon for a 2008 Endeavour how do I program them to the car ? I have a no gob key now and when I open the car the alarm goes off every time after locking it so I need to have working key fobs They look just like the originals will this work with them?
I changed the battery and it sometimes works ok but it will not unlock the passenger side door will reprogramming it fix it or do I need to go to a dealer and get new keyless entry for it
My original Mitsubishi Outlander Sport key was stolen at the gym and i only have my spare. The spare works to start the car. However, it won’t work when i press unlock/lock to open the car. I have to manually used the key to get in. I have tried the method shown in this video with still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
Dittyn25 my keys are same as shown on the vid. So its the unlock/lock and panic buttons that dont work at all. But it works when i plug it in and start the engine just fine. Just want the unlock lock buttons to work
