How To Program A Uniden Bearcat Scanner

I dug my old scanner out and decided to get it working. Here is a short video on how to program some models of police scanners. My model is the Uniden Bearcat 144XL . This programming works on a lot of models.
www.radioreference.com is a website i found some local frequencies.

I bought a uniden bearcat 170 used all i can pick up is weather im using right updated codes for san marcos texas im getting nothing please help ill be eaiting for your reply thanks

I have a Uniden 365crs. It picks up nothing.

A few things may be an issue. Your location may be one issue. Alot of companies have been changing over to using high ban frequencies. Research your scanner and see if it is low , high , or both. Another issue may be where you have the scanner placed. Mine picks up better in our kitchen than it does in my office. Hope this helps some.
