You just saved me $240 in two new sensors and service. I recently bought a new set of tires and after driving for about 2 weeks the 2 front tires registered as being low at the same time and I didn’t hit anything. They was ready to let me buy those sensors without even checking to see if I need them, thanks again!

Thank you for the trick you provided on your channel. This saved me a trip from my local shop for a lousy sensor issue error from lose positive battery terminal from my car at work. Lose connection erased my tire pressure sensors reading my air pressure. This trick did wonders thank you sir !

So you are telling me if I let the air out of the tires on the relearn that will reset the instrument on the dash? Then I can fill them up to the correct pressure. Once done filling the tires It’ll show the correct pressure on the consul then it will be reset and I will have no issues. Is that correct? Thank you.

"Tyre"??? My 2015 Chevy Cruze did not see the new "pre-programmed" Schrader 29049 sensors. Car went into re-learn just like the video, I started with the LF tire but nothing happened when I went from 48 LBS to 20 LBS. Probably Schrader doesn't work like this so I'll phone them. Probably need to buy the basic relearn tool somewhere.

But the car did honk the horn to begin the process and it showed the turn signal light lit up on the corner you where trying to remove the air? Approx. how much air did you let out? I have to go down to around 10-15 PSI from the normal 32 PSI I run to get it to register.

@HubersRanch

Could very well be your sensors battery is empty, after all it's been 6 years since it was new. As far as I know batteries aren't replaceable so you'll probably need a new sensor.

Will this cause a roaring noise at the back of the car while driving , if the sensor hasn't been reset ?
@HubersRanch

No, if the sensor isn't reset the only thing is the pressure will show on the wrong wheel if you roatated the tires or not at all if they are new sensors. I would definitely have a mechanic check out that noise asap to make sure nothing is seriously wrong like brakes.

I can start the learning process but as I release the air from the tire then it just stops and after restart the process again it will never go to the second Tire. Why?
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch 4 года назад
I'm assuming you are going to the correct tire to start airing down (looking at what turn signal is light up), how much air do you let out of the tires before you say the learning process stops? I had to usually go down to about 15psi from the regular 33psi I was running. And that is just continuously letting the air out without stopping.
@gabrylromero1912
@gabrylromero1912 4 года назад
@@HubersRanch i stated on the left front driver ties with the light lit. i got the honk that started off the learning. The tires were at 35 lbs and as i dropped the air the learning just stopped. never got a secound honk to move on to the next tire. i dropped the air to about 10 lbs but like i said the learning stopped, didnt get a honk and the lite light turned off. do you know what i did wrong?
@HubersRanch
@HubersRanch 4 года назад
No, that was totally correct. Are those the same sensors as before e.g. did you just rotate the tires or are those new sensors? If the car otherwise recognizes the sensor and displays you a value only thing I can suggest is to try again. If they are new sensors they either don't match or if new old ones their batteries are empty.
