Thank you! After watching quite a few other videos and nothing working, I about gave up and bought another keypad. I watched your video and it worked! THANK YOU SIR!
Thank you, sir. Clear instructions with expected results for each step. Oh and no crazy fades, effects, sound effects, etc. -- just knowledge transfer. Thumbs up!
Thank you Sir, with your video and my instructional manual that had slightly different instructions, I got the courage to try and it saved me over $100, no need to hire anyone! Trruly on behalf of all women, thank you for your video!!
Wow, thank you, changing out the lightbulb is stupid but that seemed to be the ticket. I was just about to tear into the circuit board and saw this video
I have a lift master key pad and an Access Master garage door motor, nothing seems to work, I've tried it ove 20 times .. It was working prior when I was programming my Siennas Homelink garage door opener.
I have a Liftmaster 3800PC direct drive opener without a light, how do I know when the code has been accepted? I've tried 20 times with no success using this method.
Mine didn’t work that way I had to press the enter button 3 times because of the learn button color. Each color has a diff number maybe that’s a good tip on others peoples learn button color
This routine for programming DID NOT WORK with the newest version of this keypad. They have changed the programming sequence, so read the instructions.
My red light never comes on the outside keypad. Got the new lift master garage door opener synced to my car and to the remote inside the garage, but I need the outside keypad for when I run. And it lights up (so there is power) but there is no red light. I still do all the other steps with learn button , 4 digit code etc, but keypad does not work( it did with the old opener which was 2002). Suggestions?
@@YoniFrenkel no I have not. I think I’ll call the people that installed it and if they don’t do anything I’ll just replace the outside keypad. Think they are around 30 or 35 bucks or so.
actually, what happens is this. When you press and hold the star and pound keys, the keypad leds flash. Keep holding until it stops flashing and remains solid (the keypad leds are red)
Same. I tried the instructions on the LiftMaster keypad door, no help. Then I pulled up this video. I have the 877MAX with a Craftsman motor. Everything is good up until you hit “Enter”. No light blink and if you hit “0”, it’s just a bunch of flashing.
I had the same problem. I was pressing the Enter button after entering my 4 digit pin. You have to hold down the Enter button until the light blinks. That should fix your problem hopefully.
Well, aside from the hideously overdone intro, your HUGE ERROR is that one needs to START WITH THE DOOR CLOSED! Cretins. Had to go to the Liftmaster factory video to get it done. And get the guitar player some lessons. Yikes. Friggin’ yikes.
I programmed my keypad with the door open. Not a huge error on their part. You may have a hugely different garage door opener, although it shouldn't make a difference whether the door is closed or open.
So this follows the directions on my Liftmaster opener except they say if the light doesn't flash keep pressing the "enter" button until it does. Then hit "zero" button. I couldn't get mine to flash light and it never programmed. This is the initial programming of it. What's going on. Seems to work smoothly for you.????
