I have this same car. The new key would work like the original with Keyless Entry and Keyless go? So you don't have to take the key out of your pocket to lock/unlock the car and start the engine with the Start button.
Been watching a lot of your videos. Great stuff. I am a locksmith out of Atlanta, Georgia. I have the IM508 with XP200, but this makes me want to upgrade to XP400 since I do not know what XP200 is used for. Can it also create universal keys?

@legacylocksmith7874 thank you for reply. I see that you don't need to take out EIS. I see some videos take out the EIS connect the connectors. Do we have to take out the EIS?
You are right 12 V battery should be maintained however, in this process, the car is an off position and it does not use barely any power is just using the Internet to calculate the password. Therefore, it is not risky in any way.
@@legacylocksmith7874Always amazes me what corner cutters get away with. It states on Mykeys important to support battery voltage. What do AD know though. I guess they just put that for the sake of it. I'm sure you know better than they.
