That was super helpful :) Thanks for the information. Would you say that adjusting time-under-tension would also be a way to switch it up from mesocycle to mesocycle?

Glad it was helpful! I think time-under-tension is more so a result of the training you perform, rather that a variable which should be intentionally manipulated. I plan on making a video on this topic at some point 👍

i dont think you need to plan hypertrophy training from a macrocycle perspective. Rather it is probably best to adjust from mesocycle to mesocycle based on how you are responding to the training program 👍

Hey Flow, is it normal to gain maybe like 1 rep over a mesocycle (mostly with DBs) when doing hypertrophy training? My performance progress is suuuuuper slow despite me doing everything right. I’m not even that strong… I have a 22kg db bench for 8 reps lol Are my expectations just too high?

do i need to take isolation exercises to failure? for smaller muscles like bicep, tricep etc? and should i take them to failure in the end of microcycle? or in every session?

You don't have to train to complete failure. For isolation lofts I would recommend 0-1 RIR in most cases 👍

Brother I am not having any issues in gaining muscle mass but the problem is that I am literally unable to lose fat despite of being in a calorie deficit and everything. I don't know what's wrong I am keeping my protien intake 2.2g/kg Still I can't lose any fat What I am losing is water weight I lost only 4 kgs in 3 months and I am seeing no change in my body shape. Can you suggest something?

Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis? Aim for 8 to 10 steps a day and keep it consistent with your diet and make changes accordingly.

That means you have lost 0.67 pounds a week, which isn't far off a recommended cut of 1 pound a week, So count your calories properly and go on a slightly bigger deficit.
