Apart from practicing ch sound I was able to differentiate between a vowel in cash and in wash. My practice brings results. Thanks Keenyn. I appreciate your work.
I'm 17 years old, lived in the UK my whole life and never been able to pronounce my ch's and sh's properly, always thought it was a kind of lisp thing. But now thanks to your video I can pronounce them properly, by using the correct tongue shape and all. Thanks so much :)
Now I have learned to pronounce the sh, but not how I expected it. In Dutch the sh is ch. So I watched the video and thought, this I'm already able to do, but that's not what I want. Then the woman pronounces the word sheep, what I'm able to pronounce, and I analysed How it is possible that I'm able to pronounce the sh in sheep. And now I'm able to pronounce it in all words. I still don't know how this is possible😂😂😂
The compelling analysis on ch sound Mam I hope now I am on right place and I've improved my pronunciation from your lessons that's how teacher teaches us and make the best students 🤗😍🙏
Kyneen i have nothing to give you darling but will always love and pray for you to get everything you deserve in life.I started to learn with you 2 years ago and honestly i can't believe how interesting it is that every time i speak English with anyone, they be like,"Oh my God i love your accent.Have you been in America before?"Thanks Kyneen for getting me up from 5-80.I love you ❤
Hi Everybody! I’m stuying English. I’m a waiter. May I ask you a question. 1. Would you like to continue to enjoy the dish. 2. Would you like to continue enjoying the dish. Which one is correct? Thank you so much! And i love her channel!
what about tr consonant cluster? i realized i make a little "ch" sound when i say, for example, "true, truth, try" some kind of similar thing goes for "dr" consonant cluster too. when i say "dream" it feels like there's a "dʒ" sound at the beginning.
Hi Keenyn! This is a really helpful video and I appreciate all of your videos. I downloaded the 100 Super Common CH Words. I understand the CH and the TU sounds. I know the CH sound is in QUESTION, but I don't know why. TION usually sounds like SHUN not CHUN. Is there a reason, or is that just the way it is, i.e. another English exception to the rule!
Respected ma'am, I'm really indebted to you for this awesome lesson. Here I learn a new word 'Africate' from you. Ma'am while pronouncing 'ch' sound what I observe is that the middle portion of my tongue touches the upper portion of my mouth. Ma'am am I correct? Besides, do the words 'teacher' and 'culture' have the same mechanism of pronunciation ? Deep regards, ma'am.
I love the way you are bringing conscious attention to how your tongue is moving to articulate the sound. 👍 It's actually the tip of the tongue, as opposed to the middle, that touches the alveolar ridge (the bony bump behind your front teeth) when pronouncing this sound. Teacher and culture definitely have this sound! :)
